I had a feeling we'd get the Now I'm Nothing/Terrible Lie intro tonight (at least I hoped we would) and it was amazing! But then they followed it up with Last – a personal favorite that I'd never seen before – and that was just the icing on the cake for me. When Trent started talking about Bowie and mentioned they'd play two songs: one from Blackstar (I Can't Give Everything Away) and another he "had the pleasure of playing with him," I assumed we were about to see I'm Afraid of Americans, and since I don't really know the song Subterraneans, I was a bit confused for a little while. I am very happy I got to see a couple of the Bad Witch songs (and those were the two I wanted to see most), but what REALLY made my night/weekend/month was finally seeing The Perfect Drug. I lost my shit! Ilan fucking CRUSHED that drum breakdown. I loved every damn second and I was drenched in sweat and exhausted by the end. What a weekend!
