I think you've all missed the audio file in the first folder. The stuff in the second folder is from the 2005 KROQ almost acoustic Christmas. The Vietnam performance is in the initial folder.
Whew! My EDS filter is working!
That said, I didn’t think I’d be able to download this on my iPhone & listen, but color me surprised & thankful!
I knew we’d be in for some fun & this is an amazing surprise and a wonderful TNINLIVE.com birthday present.
What a way to start the new year! Thanks to everyone involved!!
Says the set is from
With Teeth 12 10 05 Los Angeles Gibson Amphitheatre
Can't wait to see how long it takes everyone to figure out which show the 14 minute track is sourced from.
Definitely need an EDS filter for the top level track...
Thanks to Ryan for everything you do and thanks for releasing this source!
EDIT: Oh and congrats on 11 years! That is amazing.

(I was bored.)
Edit: I should have come up with some story about digging through a box my cool uncle gave me after he got back from his stay in SE Asia...

I always thought that KROQ show was one of the best WT era shows in terms of energy and aggression....Dope to hear it in pristine form
I’m just gonna pretend that Kinda I Want To was the fourth single for TNIN and was number one for seven weeks.
Hahahaha Reptile has Peter Murphy singing lead vocals.
Welp, that was 14 minutes and 22 seconds of my life I'll never get back.
just now downloading. anybody see if a "fuck you" was snuck in after Hurt?
Is it just me, or does it seem like there's a couple faces in that spectrograph? I don't have the tool for it, but if there was a way to edit out the audio clipping, and redo the image?
edit: also, the sample doesn't match the FLAC download. The sample is labelled Piggy, but there is a full MOTP track played, which isn't part of the FLAC.

VLC kept kept crashing when I tried to open the 1995 file, and at first I thought that was part of the joke, but turns out I was just super behind on updates. Whoops.
I'm also checking out the spectrogram, but the software I'm using (which is really meant more for speech analysis) can only show about 10sec at a time at most. I'm not seeing much of note so far at the end of the flac, but lmk if there's a particular timestamp you'd like to see!
Thank you so much, Ryan!
So I did some quick research, and was able was able to remove the clipping using Audacity. There's still tons of glitches in this, but you can hear the songs a bit better, you can check it out here:

Also, spectrograph of said clip:
I could just WANT to be seeing something, but between the 6:40 to 7:40, it sure looks like Trent's face in there.
It's also possible I truncated too much audio, I used this settings to remove the silence gaps:
Maybe someone with an actual Audio background can do this more justice!
Is this an actual thing that TR & AR sent over, or is this just ninlive having fun? I'm leaning toward the latter.
EDIT: Ah, never mind, figured it out. It's just a fun way for ninlive to surprise people with the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas performance in high quality.

With Adobe Audition the spectrograph looks a bit different:

Watch, there's going to be an "EDS" filter that is going to make this noise listenable and in great quality.
Mark my words. This isn't over
This part is my favorite part
has anyone run the sample labeled piggy through a spectrograph?
(this track isn't part of the 14:22)?
I can hear a weird vocal vowel sound coming through right after piggy ends.
Or was I disappointed that the DAT tape was unlistenable and it seemed like a good time to release it conjunctively? Plus I hadn't done anything for the 10th year of the site because I have been so busy.
I was given 5 posters to give away with it as well from Saigon. Next week some time.
