Since their are two versions of Watchmen Vol. 3 which one is more "rare"? I have not open either, but I want to open one to listen to, just rather open the one that is more readily available. i.e. keep the more rare version factory sealed.

Mens Health (???) have got an article up with every other piece of music used in the show. I've made an Apple Music playlist from it as its quite an eclectic mix with some really nice stuff.

The Amazon ones don't have the DE sticker, the retail copies that record stores got have them. Not sure one is more rare than the other, though obviously the DE sticker is cool to have.

yet mine did. wtf? if they had the same bar code, i'd say there was just a batch where the stickers got skipped accidentally, but that doesn't seem to be the case. hmmmm

I used the scan of the Vol. 3 cover from that Reddit thread a few pages back and combined it with the Vol. 3 sticker from the Amazon placeholder art to create a facsimile of the full Vol. 3 cover with all stickers intact. It's only at 1500 x 1500, but that's the best I could do with the files I was working with. It's not perfect, but since people are looking for something they can use, this can probably hold you over until official art comes out.

This is so strange, but production of vinyl must be complex like quantum physics. I wonder if this was pressed at several different pressing plants?

Believe me, I WILL if I came across one and then I'll bring it here for a fellow fan who missed out. (no markup)

I'm back home with my iMac and started looking at the Saigon recording. It seems like "Heresy" & "Kinda I Want To" were skipped during the show (unless they're really chopped up & fragmented). Can anyone else confirm because I have old-man ears?

Maybe they were written on the setlist but not played.

The beginning drone voices of "Kinda I Want To" began playing for the encore but Trent looked to the side of the stage (I assume to a tech) and said, "Stop... STOP." The song was aborted and after about a minute of darkness on stage, began "Hurt."

Thank you so much! Is there a decent picture of the "handwritten" label floating around?

Hey, made a reddit post last week with the scans of Vol's 1 & 3, received the 2nd volume a couple of days ago and got around to making them up.

    Link to Vol 2. - https://imgur.com/a/A5izO9w (Vol 1 & 3 incase anyone missed them, 1: https://imgur.com/a/94iemD3 3: https://imgur.com/a/Feicuqb )

Unfortunately, wasn't able to make a non-stickered cover, too much background detail (I couldn't find the proper stock map to fill in the space)

They're all recreations to a minor or larger extent. My current scanner is half-decent but too small to scan the full images. So several of them are stitched (usually in the case of front covers), and are cleaned up in Photoshop as best as I could for dust specks, bent corners and what-not.

The booklets have new backgrounds sampled from the colours of the originals to avoid any abundance of scan lines, then using a rough stitch I'd line up the scanned text in chunks, doing the same with each individual image so that they could be colour corrected from the scan capture. The stickers also scanned in with too much of the textures / scratches showing up, so those are actually DSLR shots brought in seperately and touched up. They're not perfect but I figure they're as best as they can be given my resources / abilities.

@coolhandgreg I, too, would like to voice my appreciation for your meticulous work. You've done a great job, it looks like an official digital booklet that could come with the download. Thanks for sharing it!

Where are folks deciding to sequence LTR into the digital track listing?

Well, it should be between The Waiting Sky and The Way It Used To Be. You can hear the previous track at the start of LTR, which is between these tracks on the vinyl edition.

^ I also cut down "The Waiting Sky" from the download version for my portable digital audio player so that at 3:50, it stops and goes straight into "Let Him Ride" (the DAP also does a little cross-fading to help with this) instead of fading out.

Just wanted to stan again for this whole soundtrack, the "Dreamland Jazz" piece is absolutely exquisite and has me very excited for what they're going to do with the Soul and Mank scores this year.

Thanks. I realise it sounds like a silly question but since the digital release pads out the tracks prior to TWS, I wondered how well it works there. (I haven't listened to the whole thing with LTR in the sequence yet.)

I did this exact same thing!
