Can anyone fill me on how they got a room at 65$ a night and what perks come with GA VIP?

I want to hit these 2 shows really bad but funds are tight as I am hitting and taping the following shows NYC N1 , Brooklyn Both shows , Boston Both Shows, LA Last 4 Shows!

If anyone can give me some tips or wants to split some costs and share a room let me know asap I am prepared to take the plunge and hit Vegas again the summer shows were epic!

    Here’s from the JointVIP email:
A VIP GA Floor Ticket starts at $165 and includes: (Main Floor - Standing Room Only Ticket)

    - 1 general admission ticket on the main floor – standing room only
    - 1 custom VIP Credential keepsake
    - A line pass
    - 1 complimentary drink voucher (no champagne!)

A VIP GA Floor ‘line pass’ will get you into the venue in front of the General Admission ticket line, as long as you arrive by the time doors open to the venue. If you arrive after doors open, you will still avoid the line – however the GA line will have already entered thevenue with access to the standing area on the main floor. There is no roped off VIP area on the main floor for VIP guests. There may be some band FanClub members or Agent / Promoter Executives who will have earlier access. The VIP ticket only guarantees early entry before GA guests.

As for rooms, check under the hard rock’s deals page and click around to find something good. Looks like a Paradise King is $65/night right now for that weekend.

There’s a 40% promo for CA residents and I booked the hotel room before I got the tickets. They’re $69/$74 a night now, so +$6.5/night in 2 days.

Doesnt include tax and $33/night resort fee. But no parking fee so I guess there’s that.

Let's just hope the setlists are still as amazing as the first 3 shows!
Woot! Woot! Fellow Canadian flying down. I'll see ya there, neighbor. I looked at Air Canada vacations based on your recommendation, and I haven't found anything that good. There is a deal that is similar to the one you mentioned, but I checked the flight details and the trip home is at 7:45am, hahaha. Totally out of the question, not gonna take that flight. Plus, I checked from Wed-Sun and Thurs-Sun, we need to be back Sunday night at the latest, Won't be able to take Monday off as well.

Are you staying at Hard rock, or was your package for a different hotel?

Either way, I got tickets secured for both nights. Just monitoring flight prices now.

Yay I was hoping you'd make it down for this show, I read your posts all the time! I picked the Hard Rock as my hotel - the venue is off the strip so I thought staying there would be a good idea - I was told by a friend to book a regular room and then when you get there you can upgrade for $20 a night if you want, cheaper than booking a fancier room. You can change the flight time on Air Canada Vacations and some of the flights will change the price, some will stay the same - same with Westjet. Expedia had some similar deals with other airlines, good luck!

Edit: I just noticed prices have gone up a couple hundred today, hopefully they come back down again for you - might be too many rooms being booked at the Hard Rock.

So what this mostly does is let you get in to GA early? Is that pretty important at this venue?
I'm trying to watch my $$ so I want to spend it where it's needed, I'd be coming from KC but I really want to go...

It's important if you would like to get there early and be on the rail. Last time, I heard there were 50 VIP GAs, so if you are fine not being one of the first 50 people in the door, then there's no point to it.

I'm getting extremely anxious about the general ticket sale in 21 minutes. I really, REALLY hope I can snag tickets for both nights and that it isn't immediately sold out :-/

EDIT: Got GA tickets for Friday 11/30 but Saturday was basically totally sold out apart from some seats in the back left that were $225/ea. Hopefully I can snag some GA tickets on the cheap closer to the date.

Saturday only had $225+ seats in the back available. I guess that show pretty much sold out in the presale yesterday. Hoping for GA ticket availability closer to the date! Good luck to you!

It depends on where you wanna be during the show. I go for front row balcony for the vegas shows so I can spend more time gambling.

We should plan some kind of meet-up for this weekend. It'd be great to meet you all, especially those who were at Red Rocks but connections were missed. Maybe we could all get on a craps table and make some money, too...

Was that only for the presale or is that the regular rate? Their site appears to be incapable of doing online booking and I don't want to call just yet.

EDIT: Never mind, I used this new thing called "the internet" and found rates. Lowest I could find was $72/night but that's still fantastic.

Also, if you're a VIP on the rail, there was someone coming around taking drink orders. Getting a drink from the rail is probably something you will only experience in Vegas.

that's probably why most of us went for VIP - it's the difference between getting in line at 1p vs 7p.

FYI: that $72/night rate was through Gala Hotels which apparently is extremely shady. Ended up using Booking.com and it was $120/night, $346 total for two nights after all taxes and fees.

The venue did not do that in Oct 2017, but did in June, which was great. I really hope they do it again this time. It's so great to be able to get some water during those hours.

They did it in 2013 as well. Maybe they were short staffed that night but it's my understanding that they offer this service at all shows at the joint.

How long after the on sale time do they typically respond with the confirmation emails for VIP ticket purchases? I'm traveling out of country at the moment and nervous that my card might get flagged for a $600+ purchase back in the states and then I lose the tickets.

I got my confirmation earlier this afternoon, but I sent my email within a minute of the tweet announcement. Last time, June, for the added date, I didn't get the email until closer to midnight Central Time.

Just to clarify, you have received a confirmation email post-credit card authorization form submission? I received the initial email from Emily stating that the tickets would be held and then submitted my card auth information within two hours of receipt of the form but have received no further updates. :-/

Patience peeps. There are a lot of peeps to process. :-)

Also the barricade is pretty long and non-VIP can make rail too if you still line up early. 9 or 10am at the latest.

Yes also realize the HRH is in a transition period It was recently acquired by Richard Bransons Virgin company and is going to be renovated and branded differently soon so things are in flux there with the staff everything may not be instant right now.
