WHAT IN THE FUCK
Never thought I'd see the day
Hey guys I just thought I'd pop in and see what the setlist wa-
o:
what
holy. fucking. shit.
I'm super bummed I won't be catching a show on this tour!! Happiness in Slavery?! Really hoping there's a tour that goes into the new year, would love to be there to catch this live.
While moshing has never been a thing for me, it's weird to see the crowd so calm and chill for this song. This song just reeks of chaos, and I fully envision people jumping around like mad.
V e r y exciting. The level of fan appreciation/service in playing a whole EP like that as a surprise is weirdly heartwarming and makes you wonder what else is in store this tour.
This Isn't the Place was terrific. Moody lighting, super atmospheric, Robin was on a synth subbing in for Trent's vocalizing during the instrumental portions.
If I'm bummed about anything it's that God Break Down the Door got dropped from the setlists--I wouldn't have guessed this listening to the record, but from all the recordings I've seen itnwas easily the one I was most excited for. Would've loved getting that in the encore instead of Less Than (which, while good, does seem a tiny bit redundant coming right after Survivalism and The Hand That Feeds)
So they played all of Broken in order that night? That’s fucking awesome.
I can understand being kind of bummed if your fave song doesn't get played. But I see people on Twitter/Insta @ Nin and Trent's official accounts with their super-hostile screeching and complaining after a show and I'm just...ugh. We are talking about a guy who has released nearly 30 years of content. Trent has like 200 songs to choose from on any given night!
What in the actual fuck do they expect their concert experience to be like? It's kind of impossible to make a setlist that will please everyone once you've amassed such a huge catalog.
It's one thing to think to yourself "bummer, I would have really liked to hear "Closer" but oh well, great show". But to tag musicians publicly while you rant about how they ruined your life by not playing "your" song? Come on now.

Holy shit. I have tickets for both Atlanta shows. I wanted to avoid setlist spoilers but couldn't resist. I have no idea what to expect now. Broken is unbelievable.
Holy shit. This is beautiful.
Home is also yet another one my most favorite songs from With Teeth, so that works for me too, but for different reasons. I see where you're coming from though, as I'm kind of like that with Underneath It All on The Fragile.
@Bachy - Whoa, well it looks like my wish came true after all.

Now for it to also become true on the actual upcoming performance I'm attending this year.
I also found this after searching for the Woodstock 1994 performance of Happiness In Slavery. I'm so glad to see it finally return live.
Me neither, and hearing a portion of it during The Great Destroyer was such a fucking tease. If anything, I hope that means we'll also get Kinda I Want To, The Only Time and Ringfinger back.
@elevenism - I wish for you to be in a show where that happens. And well, considering how Broken is one your overall ultimate favorites and introduction to Nine Inch Nails to start with. I could go either way, but I still like to sometimes fantasize about just walking into a Pretty Hate Machine + Broken show. If only, ever.
@Prettybrokenspiral - I also didn't want you to miss it.

TDS tonight.
Never mind lol.
Oh goddamn it I'm two hours away, are you shitting me
Well so far setlist.fm says Mr self destruct, piggy
Dear god.
I was expecting nothing new from Vegas. Here we are song two of night two, and I am in utter disbelief. I don't even know what these feelings are.
Honestly I would love to see all of HM live.
Also how hilarious would it be if one night it was some varation of remixes and we got Closer to God back but also hey! Here's TPD.
After Piggy, it went into other songs. But a truly epic trolling would have been to play all of TDS tonight and then tomorrow start the Fragile but then play Frail - > Closer (or really anything other than the wretched but closer seems like better trolling)
Over & Out live debut?!? Can anyone confirm?
Supposedly God Given now.
Over and Out is a really great song. I wonder how it translates live.
A Warm Place?!?
Ilan is streaming on Instagram, they're playing Reptile.
Eraserrrrrrrrr
PLEASE tell me there’s footage somewhere of Trent playing the sax again! I’m assuming that’s Over and Out
Ah yes, Setlist.fm posted The Perfect Drug. Wouldn't be a setlist update without that trolling.
