Top Five Bands You Wish You Could Have Seen Live

As a companion to the Top Five Bands You Want To See Live thread, let's do one for top five bands who are no longer alive or actively performing that you which you could have seen live! Here are mine:

    1. Nirvana
    2. Jeff Buckley
    3. Pink Floyd
    4. Led Zeppelin
    5. The Doors

And then there are bands like Guns N' Roses, KMFDM, etc., who are still around, but I wish I had seen them in their heyday.

Also, I was lucky enough for my first show ever to be NIN & Bowie, but I didn't fully appreciate Bowie yet. I would have loved to see him again after really falling in love with his music.

    Every Time I Die
    Audioslave
    Faith No More
    Alice In Chains (with Layne)
System of a Down (in their prime, seen some recent videos and I think I’ll pass on seeing them now)

honorable mentions: Rage Against the Machine and Stone Temple Pilots (my wife got to see them with Chester Bennington and I’m super jealous of that and would have been cool with either him or Scott Weiland)

two bands I actually had tickets for on their last tours, but didn't go for various reasons:
    Mazzy Star
    Lush

I had a ticket for Prince in my cart on Ticketmaster, but said to myself "next time" ...sadly, there'd be no next time.
