@botley - since Saints And Liars was first put online, when I listen to it in the full album context the beginning sounds less… punchy? Or is it just my imagination? Or did they alter it at the last minute?

I think they're largely the same, but there's a little bit more compression on the album version compared to the pre-release video, so maybe that's what you're hearing?

For some reason my downloads section has 13 tracks with Saints And Liars (regular version) appearing first before Betrayed and another one of it appearing out of order?

Wish there was a digital download of The End of Dragons (Alt). Weird.

Remember when Savage came out and “Cold” was only available on vinyl? It appeared online everywhere in digital format as well, though.

I believe that one was a Japanese exclusive.

Did you hear If I Said from certain versions of Savage as well?



Then there’s also the demo version of The Calling that has lyrics over the big synth section that should have been on the album version, personally. I had Gary write those lyrics for me and sign the paper “I’ll be waiting…” - will post a picture of it if you like.

@voidnz, it just occurred to me you may also be unaware of some other obscure tracks from various eras:

- Fold (Alternative Mix)

- Everything Comes Down To This (Demo)

- Dead Sun Rising (Piano Version)

- Here In The Black (Demo)

I believe those last three were given away at meet and greets on unique promo discs. I have them all on file somewhere if you’re interested. I believe the HITB demo differs from the one on the Splinter bonus disc.

As part of the Making Music campaign for Intruder, I got the Rock City Studios 24-track recording sheet from the "White Boys and Heroes" session, signed by Gary... would be great to someday also get it signed by the rest of that band, plus Nick Smith (the engineer).
