But the problem is, it is full of tinnitus noise throughout the album. Also I think the crowd noise is too loud, especially on intro-the wreckage. I didn't noticed this problem when I listened to them on youtube, so I'm a bit confused now. Can anyone here help me out?
probably something to do with the compression applied when converting to video/uploading to youtube. my CD copy sounds the same as yours. i'm really sensitive to high-frequency noise so it's hard for me to listen to unless i'm in my car with the windows down, which masks it a bit.

Thanks for helping. Maybe I'll try some other albums later.

    + I enjoyed Colossus, too!

So I haven't posted here in a long time, but now seems good again.

Because I am seeing Gary tomorrow night in Sacramento and I can't fucking wait! 1st time seeing him and the footage I have seen of his live show is so bad ass.
I cant wait to here Splinter material.
I haven't heard much else from the new album except I Am Dust. I just am old fashioned and don't really care to listen to leaks.
Either way I will posted how the show goes

So the show was amazing. Was right in front center row. The sound was perfect in my opinion. The crowd was good, we were loud for the band, showed them love. But didnt cheer or yell out stuff at the wrong times, lol.
I cant remember the full setlist, but a few notes:
    They opened with pure
Played 3 or 4 new songs including I Am Dust.
Love Hurt Bleed was my favorite of the new ones.
They played the Dead Moon Falling version of Dead Sun Rising. I liked it live more than on the remix album.
Something was going on with the Bass players rig for a song, but the show continued as if nothing happened. Total pro's.
Overall I think it was 18 or 19 songs total.
The opening band Cold Cave was ok, they seemed into it and were nice to the crowd. But honestly they arent my cup of Tea.

Need to idenify which other two songs he played apart from I Am Dust and Love Hurt Bleed.

Instinct tells me possibly "Splinter" and "Here In The Black".

Though it's most likely "Everything Comes Down To This" and perhaps one of the above.

    The Future Principle

Gary Numan Opens Up on His New Album

"Lost" is one of Splinter's most subdued moments, but it's also one of its most powerful, written after a particularly rough stretch in Numan's marriage. "It's therapeutic. I don't really talk to people about my problems—my wife, obviously. When I write songs it's like talking it out with a therapist."

One of the new songs was "We are the Unforgiven" I remeber the backdrop showing that title now.

Something interesting I found out about the opening band Cold Cave, the main guy/ singer has only 1 arm. Honestly that is really cool that he doesnt let it stop him from making music and following his dreams.

he used to be the vocalist in a punk-ish band called "give up the ghost" and he was always so awesome at shows. jumping into the crowd and going crazy. he was born with just one arm, too...it wasn't an accident or anything.

The more I listen to Splinter the more I'm convinced that "The Calling" is my favorite track. Those anthemic, massive epic sounding synths halfway through really make my balls swell in a good way.

I still think Love Hurt Bleed is my favorite and Lost is probably second with Here In The Black being third.

Is there any difference between Sacrifice and Dawn? Like is Dawn remastered or anything? Or are they exactly the same with different art?
