We need Elizabeth Warren as president. I have a lot of issues with Biden like being owned by the big banks in Delaware & letting the gas companies run amok. Better than the alternative though. The whole 2 party system is so corrupt that it's beyond saving. We need a legitimate third party led by someone sane like Mark Cuban. Look what he's doing with his pharmacy. Very innovative & doing a lot of good. As far as ranked voting goes, it's a hair brained uber liberal scheme. I'm pretty liberal but I'm big on common sense & that's sadly lacking in a lot of circles. If you think people don't trust the integrity of the voting system wait until that takes hold somewhere. We need to eliminate the electoral college (put in place to placate slavery states) & do something about gerrymandering. With the Supreme Court packed with conservatives it won't happen. It's too bad that the Democrats didn't have the testicular fortitude (sorry ladies, WWE reference) to stand up to the GOP while they were packing the court. Basically, the US has had it's day in the sun. Historically when the military becomes the whole economy, the empire is done. I worked in the military industrial complex for over a decade & I could tell some tales but they made me sign a NDA when I left. Rome, Britian, the list is long & it's the same song on repeat. I've given up hope. I just feel bad about what the kids growing up now will have to deal with.

Anecdotal. I have an issue with an 86 year-old holding the launch codes.

I plan on voting for the (D) no matter who the nominee is, but for me his age is an issue. I've said my piece.

    Herschel Walker is a vampire?

"I don't know if you know, but vampires are some cool people, are they not?" the congressional candidate said. "But let me tell you something that I found out: A werewolf can kill a vampire. Did you know that? I never knew that."

"So, I don't want to be a vampire anymore," Walker added, without further context. "I want to be a werewolf."

Sounds like a great winning platform for someone running for the U.S. Senate. /s

One additional good thing that came from the midterm election is Illinois voters passed a referendum for a worker’s rights amendment to the Illinois constitution, granting a “fundamental right” of employees to bargain over “wages, hours, and working conditions, and to protect their economic welfare and safety at work.”

Oh yeah, always love Chinese propaganda. I thought tik tok was getting banned. Not that the message doesn't resonate. I've been thinking about starting an anti-social media platform. Like "shut the fuck up, who cares what you think" whenever someone posts something.

I've been going on and on about a red tidal wave.

The Mrs is begging me to keep up with my theories, I THINK, because she's convinced that whatever I say, that the opposite will happen.

You're like The Secret, but in reverse ; whatever your mind summons the universe listens, and answers "fuck no" !

Christie would bring his own pork barrel to the White House.

Yeahhhhhh... so Kanye has dinner at Mar A Lago w/ Trump (along with some random millennial white supremacist) and then, I guess last night, Tweeted that he's going to be running for president in 2024?
