You spelled "Oscars" wrong.
not anymore
10MH's intro is at the end of TMHBM, not JLYI, and the only version without it is the vinyl (because the songs are split across sides).
this looks like you had to write a paper in 6th grade. why did you post it?
woops, fixed that.
I got bored....Im bound to have someone learn something new,s o yeah....ill be adding more stuff to it when i learn new crap
AATCOB is not the proper acronym...it's And All That Could Have Been.
also, this seems like a pretty unnecessary and completely subjective list of "facts" you have compiled.
I just cant catch a break can i? this was just done for fun and humor, nothing else. Take it what you want.
This is really weird to post on a board that is as obsessive as this one. you had to know that you were going to get called out on every detail. haha.
I dont see a NIN fun board anywhere
I think this is kind of a hilarious overview. When you read through this though you have to think of it like this.
It would be better if you put the reason Trent nixed Bleedthrough as a concept
You also forgot the most important "like".
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
I think that this concept might actually have potential.
NIN trivia (REAL NIN trivia, mind you,) is something i would read.
One bit of trivia I wouldn't mind finding out about is what happened with the Sade collaboration thing - I'm sure I read somewhere that he had a rejection fax from Sade on his wall - but did she let him down gently?
Seriously though I can't think of many songs I hate as much as Smooth Operator - it was almost on a par with Uptown Girl
Aren't most (if not all) songs on PHM remixes? Given the fact that he re worked all of these songs with revision after revision with the respective engineers?
Pretty sure that the Ruiner solo is not just Trent fucking around. It sounds planned out. The only thing I have ever read about that solo is that him and Vrenna were going through different guitar presets on the Zoom and laughed when they found the cheesy sounding Pink Floyd preset that you hear on the recording.
This hurts to read.
True. But there is a Meathead Fun Book!!!
geez people here are dicks.. this was hilarious and I actually learn something new, thanks for this @Dryalex12
Trent knew Manson as early as 1990. Fact.
February 26, 2007 at the Manchester show. Trent fucked up because someone screwed up the lighting during the piano breakdown, and afterwards said on stage "That's the first time we've played that song on this tour... it's gonna be the last."
AND IT'S NEVER BEEN PLAYED SINCE.
Fun Fact: NIN stands for Nine Inch Nails
I remember in a guitar magazine interview, when the interviewer asked who was playing the solo on Ruiner and trent said "That's me, old lightning fingers."
That always cracked me up.
But yeah, i do think this thread has potential.
For instance, i never knew that there was a possibility of a Sade collaboration.
Edit: @Sarah K ...that statement you made...utterly profound!
You guys have as much humor as Trent's facial expressions
also its call RANDOM POINTLESS
Fun fact: TRENT'S NAME IS NOT TRENT
