now i'm wondering why trent has never dropped by to tell us all to collectively shut the fuck up while we were bursting each and every brain cell of ours over the existance or non existance of an arg

that was just plain sadistic of him

By the way, does anybody know why I can only see The Social Network and Dragon Tattoo release among the Reznor/Ross scores, while NIN's output keeps getting updated? Or am I looking at the wrong place?

Back up again. Rackspace helpfully decided to reboot again.. bah. I'm going to move it over to a different setup soon and make sure the site comes up along with the server instead of needing a manual kickstart.

That sounds like a pain in the ass. Is it difficult to move a site to a new host provider?

Thankfully no. I have it setup so it's fairly self-contained, so most of the work is just getting the new instance configured (which should be fast), moving the code/db/images over, and then getting the DNS pointing in the right place. I might move over to AWS instead, since the load typically needed for the site should mean I can run it for free.

That's cool. I'm in IT, but on the network/ help desk side of that world. No experience in web site management or Dev.
