I don't think there is going to be any pre-orders for these releases. After all the crap that they went through with the first batch, I am thinking these are just released, period in Feb. Very much like the Vietnam Soundtrack was over the summer.

That's what I'm hoping for – no preorders this time, just dropping for sale with immediate shipping because they've been pressing over the last few months.

Well technically this all came from some record store employee blabbing or something cuz she went and listed her top 5 upcoming vinyl releases she found out was coming. Perhaps The Slip simply wasn't in her top 5 hence didn't make her Instagram post? Perhaps Patriots Day and Quake was on the list, but further down under Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross names hence she only saw Massive Attack and Nine Inch Nails first?

I still haven't even heard the PD score. I've been waiting for it to come out in something other than digital (I don't want to buy the thing twice) and thought the wait for the record would be much shorter than it has been. Really hoping for an announcement this week about the remaining DE's as well as PD & Quake. C'mon Trent, I've got a bundle of cash to give you!!

No you are not the only one, but I already bought the download and I am still going to buy the vinyl. I have to say I am anxious to buy With Teeth, Year Zero, and of coarse the The Slip, Patriots Day and Quake whenever they are released.

Not sure why people think the rest of the vinyls would all be coming out at the same time (assuming, of course, that these are going to be released next week). It would make sense to release With Teeth and Year Zero next since they're arguably the albums that people are most interested in being released.

Looks promising. I'd expect the reissues to be timed to be released alongside the next EP, but we'll see how things pan out.

I wish TR or somebody that works for him would shoot us a message on nin.com to just give us a heads up about the Definitive Editions. He did say the last time they switched distributors that nin.com would have releases first for the fans. It sucks that we have to rely on European websites to get a heads up on With Teeth and Year Zero.

The timing is such that not only will the new EP drop literally any second over the next month or so, but remember - we were also told about the first batch of reissues when the first EP dropped. Not to mention, after last time, I'd be willing to bet TR is taking the "produce product first, sell later" approach instead of the pre-order option. So I wouldn't be surprised if we hear something at the end of this week or sometime next week, if that Feb 9 date holds any water.

I might be getting way ahead of myself, but in light of events with the NIN camp since this trilogy started, I'm expecting the final EP, reissue announcement, AND...for the love of Christ and all that is holy...real tour dates.

Edit: I can't read and didn't realize that's all been said, but still. I'm excited! The timing is too right.

Based on his remarks and the play list, I conclude we are in for an amazing record for whatever they are working on. Hopefully the end results will be to his liking and will be released. TR does "shelve" a lot of work.
