The wrestling thread is actually THE most active thread on ETS (well, 2nd to Random NIN Thoughts which I hesitate to call a thread). I’ve always wondered the connection between Nine Inch Nails and wrestling.
The proof of how WOKE he is in when he comes in here and posts a link we posted on the last page. Which means he has NO fucking idea what we’re talking about, he assumes things about us, hates most of us, and can’t be bothered to read through pages of drivel that we’ve posted. He just assumes it’s all stupid, unwoke, hawkish, gun-hating shit not worthy of Him. Or, his Facebook “friends” all hate him so he comes in here to take it all out on us. Or both.

We will never know. Trump’s too busy planning a fucking PARADE of “smart beautiful weapons” and chose fucking BOLTON as his Secretary of State. He coulda built his stupid fucking WALL with that money, too, but he’s too stupid.

Okay, meanwhile ...
Here’s a good read in the New Yorker:
Michael Cohen and the End Stage of the Trump Presidency
However, I am unaware of anybody who has taken a serious look at Trump’s business who doesn’t believe that there is a high likelihood of rampant criminality. In Azerbaijan, he did business with a likely money launderer for Iran’s Revolutionary Guard. In the Republic of Georgia, he partnered with a group that was being investigated for a possible role in the largest known bank-fraud and money-laundering case in history. In Indonesia, his development partner is “knee-deep in dirty politics”; there are criminal investigations of his deals in Brazil; the F.B.I. is reportedly looking into his daughter Ivanka’s role in the Trump hotel in Vancouver, for which she worked with a Malaysian family that has admitted to financial fraud. Back home, Donald, Jr., and Ivanka were investigated for financial crimes associated with the Trump hotel in SoHo—an investigation that was halted suspiciously. His Taj Mahal casino received what was then the largest fine in history for money-laundering violations.
The narrative that will become widely understood is that Donald Trump did not sit atop a global empire. He was not an intuitive genius and tough guy who created billions of dollars of wealth through fearlessness. He had a small, sad operation, mostly run by his two oldest children and Michael Cohen, a lousy lawyer who barely keeps up the pretenses of lawyering and who now faces an avalanche of charges, from taxicab-backed bank fraud to money laundering and campaign-finance violations.
Cohen, Donald, Jr., and Ivanka monetized their willingness to sign contracts with people rejected by all sensible partners. Even in this, the Trump Organization left money on the table, taking a million dollars here, five million there, even though the service they provided—giving branding legitimacy to blatantly sketchy projects—was worth far more. It was not a company that built value over decades, accumulating assets and leveraging wealth. It burned through whatever good will and brand value it established as quickly as possible, then moved on to the next scheme.
There are important legal questions that remain. How much did Donald Trump and his children know about the criminality of their partners? How explicit were they in agreeing to put a shiny gold brand on top of corrupt deals? The answers to these questions will play a role in determining whether they go to jail and, if so, for how long.
There is no longer one major investigation into Donald Trump, focussed solely on collusion with Russia. There are now at least two, including a thorough review of Cohen’s correspondence. The information in his office and hotel room will likely make clear precisely how much the Trump family knew. What we already know is disturbing, and it is hard to imagine that the information prosecutors will soon learn will do anything but worsen the picture.
Of course Trump is raging and furious and terrified. Prosecutors are now looking at his core. Cohen was the key intermediary between the Trump family and its partners around the world; he was chief consigliere and dealmaker throughout its period of expansion into global partnerships with sketchy oligarchs. He wasn’t a slick politico who showed up for a few months. He knows everything, he recorded much of it, and now prosecutors will know it, too. It seems inevitable that much will be made public. We don’t know when. We don’t know the precise path the next few months will take. There will be resistance and denial and counterattacks. But it seems likely that, when we look back on this week, we will see it as a turning point. We are now in the end stages of the Trump Presidency.
I wish that trump was always as collected as he was when he announced the strikes on Syria.
I would still hate him but I would have a little bit more respect for him if he didn't seem so unhinged and abrasive all the damn time.
Trump continuing to call Comey a slimeball is like the pot calling a dual-bay stainless steel oven...well, a pot.
I strongly doubt that Trump gives a fuck about anyone in Syria. So while we ARE sort of obligated to answer to flagrant violations of the Geneva conventions, i would ALSO imagine that Trump is happy about the way these strikes ostensibly put him at odds with Putin.
I can't help but wonder if he and Putin secretly discussed all this shit.
Seriously... @DigitalChaos pretending to be all fucked up and devastated by children being gassed in Syria... when really all he wants is to post a shitty meme and say something completely unrelated bout how much he loves guns.
I'm seriously not allowed to put Digital Chaos on ignore? The fuck?
Libertarians don’t care about Syrians, they care about spending. It’s about money.
They don’t like taxes, regulations, or spending; they like privatization.
So here’s the future, under the Allegro Libertarian Plan (TM):
* No public schools, all private schools, tuition for which shall be paid in full by parents of children; all teacher salaries, pensions, school costs, administration, etc. shall all be the burden of the private for-profit organization, which may use advertising sponsorship for revenue (e.g. Guaranteed Rate Elementary, Amazon High School);
* Parents who cannot afford school have the option of private home school or they will benefit from school at the debtors camp (see below);
* All children shall be the sole responsibility of their parents until which time they are able to contribute a working wage to society; if parents cannot provide for their children, the family shall be mandatorily sent to debtors camp, which camp is privately owned and operated by a for-profit company; the families will receive all room, board and accommodations and education and job training in exchange for working at the camp; the families may be permitted to leave said camp when they have proven that they can pay for their offspring;
* Private for-profit corporations will provide free Sterilization funds to individuals who wish not to risk offspring;
* The Military will be owned and operated by private for-profit corporations (Google Army, Facebook Air Force etc.);
* All aviation shall be privatized for-profit and under drone manipulation by ground control; on-aircraft operations shall be fully automated, with the exception of one private fully-armed military personnel;
* All medical services and facilities shall be privatized to the highest two bidders every four years (e.g. Amazon Hospital Group, Berkshire Hathaway Medical)
* No income tax; all taxes shall be paid through goods and services through private corporations and organizations; those who cannot afford to pay for goods and services will be sent to debtors camp (see above); companies that own and operate debtors camps shall receive the benefit of the labor of camp inhabitants but shall also receive generous tax subsidies;

Libertarians: Predominantly white, upper/mid-class people who think they have it pretty great, hate it when people say things like "privilege" or insinuate that stuff which doesn't directly impact them might cost them something, always vote republican when they get in the voting booth - straight down the fucking aisle... but when they're not in the privacy of a voting booth claim to be uncorrupted and independent, and love to point out when the republicans aren't washing their balls to satisfaction... actually get excited about people like Ron Paul but then just kinda wing it when some inept clown like Gary Johnson becomes their candidate...
Libertarians just want everything to keep going their way, like it always has, and they've invested themselves in a euphemism-laden platform that is just as coy about what they REALLY want as NAMBLA is.
Libertarians are like shitty teens that don’t seem to really want any rules and act completely selfish. It’s quite unrealistic.
”Fuck the government, let the free market decide!” Except that a free unregulated market is something we’ve seen before and it sure works great and we can totally trust businesses to run ethically! It is also wonderful for the environment.
”What do you mean we need gun control? Muh rights! It’s mental illness and besides, people will just kill in other ways! My hobby is more important than dead kids! Plus the government could come for me so I need muh guns to fight!” Wow. Oh....okay. Well, other countries deal with mental illness but most of them all have strict gun laws and they don’t experience these mass shootings like we do. Additionally, let me know when a knife or bo staff or hammer can kill as fast and efficiently as guns. It would be nice to have one set of gun laws to prevent situations like Chicago where criminals come to Indiana because it’s backwards as fuck and you can practically get a gun delivered to your residence like a goddamn pizza. But let’s start small—maybe we could try something. When the constitution was written, those guys had no concept of our modern weaponry. It’s also not 1953–if the government wanted to get you, they have more firepower and could reduce you to a meaty paste from behind a monitor. You’re not fighting jack shit.

Watching this court hearing on MSNBC:
Michael Cohen had three clients in 2016/17:
1. Trump
2. Elliott Broidy (Resigned as RNC’s national deputy finance chairman after it was discovered that Cohen prepared a $1.6 Million dollar financial agreement to a former Playboy model who was pregnant with Broidy's child and who had an abortion.)
AND, UP TO NOW, UNKNOWN CLIENT NUMBER 3, DRUM ROLL, PLEASE .......
3. SEAN HANNITY
LOL LOL

See, I don't get it...the mistress of the RNC's national deputy finance chairman got 1.6 million dollars....but poor Stormy only got $130,000?? What the fuck. The national deputy whatever dude is way less high profile than Trump, even before Trump got the nomination. Who the fuck even heard of that other guy? I just don't get it, I really don't.
Also, I don't know why this issue fascinates me so much. There's just something about it that I find hilarious. "Alright, let's give her some hush money so that this thing doesn't blow up into a huge scandal that humiliates my incredibly high profile client. Let me think...Hmmm, yeah, I'd say 75 bucks out to do the trick."
Again, the first one isn't "campaign" money, the second one IS. They were trying to be REALLY careful not to raise any Treasury Dept. flags with the Stormy Daniels, but they did. They paid Stormy Daniels in INSTALLMENTS and it STILL raised flags. I don't know if most people are aware of this, but banks look for "red flags" on MOST transactions these days, because they have to, looking for things like drug deals, money laundering, all kinds of stuff. When you take out more than a certain amount of money from the bank, it's reported. When SHE gets the money, it's reported. Not just to the IRS. And none of these women got a big fat check, because of taxes, the Treasury Dept., all KINDS of shit. Cohen's money to Daniels was a HELOC, funneled to a blind Delaware LLC, which is all kinds of nuts.
Like, classic example? Dennis Hastert. Nobody would have EVER figured out Hastert's history without his bank account history tipping it off.

i so hope there is dirt on square head sponge pants. you almost can guarantee most under allies reign had some kind of sexual misconduct

I was JUST gonna say that ... that the ONLY reason somebody hires a sleazeball STUPID attorney like Cohen is because you did something really sleazy and stupid and Trump said "hey, I'll send over my Fixer." So Hannity did something really sleazy and dumb. He got a hooker pregnant or something.
Well sure, I know that the bank flags transactions over 10 grand, and I've read a little bit about structuring.
But are you saying that at this point it's basically impossible for a president/presidential candidate to bribe someone or pay someone off?
I really need to know about this for my own future planning.
Without eventually getting caught?
Yes.
Because everybody ELSE's paper trail is being monitored.
If you trade something NON-monetary, like a JOB, quid pro quo, then maybe that'd work out, but even then, there are no secrets in D.C.
There's an old saying: If you want loyalty inside the Beltway, get a dog.

The third client being Sean hannity is so fucking juicy I can barely stand it. He reports on trump and Cohen and has never once disclosed this. The implication of this being revealed should mean he’s over. You never know with fox tho. They might keep him since his fans are the type to really dig in their heels.
ETA: he’s saying Cohen lied then?!?
