Richardson says older men touched her breasts and buttocks over her uniform during encounters in 2018 and 2019. I feel sorry for Tarana Burke who founded #metoo in 2006 apparently, is a proper activist and had her movement hijacked by terrible white attention seeking Hollywood women like Rose McGowan and Asia Argento, both involved with Manson and one of them supporting him!
reading this article, it seems she founded it to help people actually heal and it wasn’t originally intended as this social media cycle of calling someone out or even publicly telling your story. It wasn’t focussed on perpetrators either

So far, some sickening stories have surfaced lately, involving many actors I grew up watching on TV harassing hundreds of people, while a well-known theater director has been accused of being a pedophile and his actor friends (and even our Prime Minister) are covering it up. More accusations are surfacing every day; and if that wasn't enough, a piece-of-shit homophobic "reporter" has been spreading false harassment rumors about LGBT celebrities who are supporting #MeTooGR on his shameful newspaper, just to milk the whole situation.

i know this isn't the point of this thread but i actually love firefly (and buffy, angel, dollhouse...so much of what he's done) and it's horrible to know that he's such a piece of shit (along with all these other people who have created stuff we love). my cats are named mal & kaylee and i used to have cats named simon & river. it just really sucks to have something resonate with you so deeply and then be reduced to shame.

Ahh, that does suck.Myself, I couldn't get into it ... but I also don't think I gave it a fair shake outside of a handful of episodes. Just didn't click with me and I think it's because I just could never get into anything he really did outside of that first Avengers movie and Buffy.
