Did you tip a 50 or something?!
Haha, I'll keep this info in mind for the future.
That being said, I love to see NIN perform at the T-Mobile arena!
It's what brings me and @Toadflax together!

Full show on YouTube. I checked Riot Fest and Aftershock, and it seems like this is the only time Atticus put actual Trump audio samples into the Great Destroyer breakdown (starts around 56:20).
Here's a nice video of TDTWWA shot from the rail.
Loved every minute of the show, Trent and the band were on fire and the sound was heavy and hard hitting. I was a couple rows back on Atticus' side soaking up NIN energy for my soul lest it is too long before I see the band again. There appeared to be a fight that broke out just behind me but security was all over it. Another guy close to me got reprimanded for openly smoking weed in the venue. I, too, was hoping for Somewhat Damaged and Reptile. That is not a complaint but a desire since those were the two songs (live versions) looping in my head while I was packing to fly out for the show. After another NIN show (#20) I am left with the usual question: how much longer do I have to wait to see them again?
I liked Tobacco's music well enough but hated the videos. There are things my eyes cannot unseen.
Did VIP tickets come with any other perks besides a separate line? The sharpie situation sounds infuriating.
Love that idea!
Ugh, good thinking directing her elsewhere. I was close to a guy who kept yelling "Play Starfuckers!!!" Dude, shut up! Don't you know the set list is predetermined?!
at first I was a little shocked when I looked at the clock & saw the show was 90 minutes. it was just so intense with no filler. i paid a little more with the hard rock vip dept (i'm not a whale, more like a goldfish, haha) & was in the center of the balcony, front row. flew down from seattle the day before. 2 days after i set up the trip, i got sick. turns out was pneumonia. thought i was well enough to travel & luckily i was ok for the show. woke up the next day deathly ill & flying home sunday was an adventure. it was worth it though. i've seen several awesome NIN shows but for me this one was the best.
agree about the standing except that i can't for a whole show anymore. severe & brutal arthritis. is why i went to extra effort to get the front of the balcony & it was perfect for me. i have done plenty of moshpits (including NIN. the gorge in WA state on fragility tour stands out as an intense one!) in my sordid youth & wish i still could.

I got a VIP ticket front of balcony. It wasn't that much more $ wise & I had a guaranteed ticket of what I needed before the presale even started. As far as extras go, got a nice lanyard with embossed VIP ticket on it. Got escorted to the seat & a free drink ticket (sadly used mine for a coke as I can't drink because of some meds I have to take). Also, in the lead up to the show, the lady who worked the department was awesome. She sent me a discount code for a room & took care of dinner reservations. I had already got partially comped & booked at the Mirage. I kind of wish I had taken her up on the room offer. Mirage wasn't that great but price was right. I usually stay at Mandalay Bay or the Bellagio when I go to Vegas. Due to the last minute nature of the trip, they were booked up or too damn expensive even with discount. I used to stay at Hard Rock back when Joint was 1200 seats but it kind of got out of control there for awhile. Seems a lot better now, so I may give them a try on future trips. 1 of the shows I saw in the old Joint was David Bowie. Bragging rights on that one!
haha. i don't gamble at home. i save it up & gamble the 2 times a year (usually) i go down to vegas. i have pretty good self control, with a daily limit on how much i'm willing to lose. the situation down there is pretty good right now & it doesn't take much to get freebies, etc. you just have to know how to work the system & i've been doing it for awhile. a lot morepeople are going to vegas for reasons other than gambling & they like the people who actually play. stuff like the expensive clubs (bleh), restaurants, shows & shopping. i do shows but not the other stuff.
fuuuuuuuck, i want that for my pass collection. anyone wanna sell theirs?
It's been too long for me to accurately write A Whole Thing about this show, but A Moment that I will always remember is when I saw Ilan come out with a guitar, and I realized that they were about to to TDTWWA, I lost it a little bit. I had never heard this one live before. I was covering my face with my hands and crying a little bit, and this person who was a stranger to me, but who I had talked with quite a bit before the show put their arm around me and hugged me. I fucking haaaaaaate strangers touching me, but in that moment, it was perfect. I've thought about it dozens of times since it has happened.
These shows just get me fucked up.
