Haha shit, that reminds me of how hard I had to go to the toilet during Spectre and of course it was during one of the quiet parts where I had to break the seal. Haven't left a theatre room ever before and after that.

No Time to Die has no time for COVID-19, they've pushed the film back to November 2020

    Is this really necessary?

Possibly. They rushed in Hans Zimmer to do the score at nearly the last minute, and this delay in time could give him enough room to fine-tune what he did, and maybe the same for the rest of the post-production.

And every James Bond since GoldenEye has been released in the fall. An April release did seem a little odd.

Really hate the news but you might be right, Corona could be a welcome excuse to fine-tune things.

I'm disappointed to hear this is pushed back, but I also didn't realize that it was initially going to come out as soon as April - likely because they usually come out in the fall as others have stated. I understand their reasoning because this is a tent-pole blockbuster and people may avoid public spaces like theaters until the coronavirus dies down.

In anticipation of the original release date of NTTD, I've recently been working my through every Bond film (including Never Say Never Again), most for the first time. Prior to this I think I had only seen Casino Royale, Dr. No, and Goldfinger all the way through. I watched Skyfall last night and holy shit, is this generally considered one of the, if not THE, best one in the series? There were several others that I loved, but I think this was the first one that I found to be just about perfect in every way. It reminded me of The Dark Knight in a lot of ways. Anyways, Spectre is up next, which I've heard is a big letdown after Skyfall, but I'm looking forward to finally being caught up on this series.

I just watched Spectre again the other day (they've been showing a lot of Bond on UK TV lately) and I'm afraid to say it didn't go down any better than the previous time.
Considering I'm one of the few who didn't get excited over Skyfall I'm coming to realise that I don't really enjoy the Craig era with the exception of Casino Royale.
I'll be keen to check out No Time To Die anyway, but expectations are low. I didn't rate Seydoux in Spectre, so having her return doesn't help. We shall see!

Mainly I've been confirming my love for the Moore films, but I am thinking I should give the Brosnan ones a go. Caught the odd bit here and there over the years, but never really occurred to me to watch them properly until now.

This movie looks so damn awesome. I'm really excited to see what Rami Malek brings to his character. I just hope that Blofeld isn't delegated to a small cameo, he deserves a second chance after so many were disappointed in SPECTRE.

Not to derail, but quickly...and of course take this with a boulder of salt (though it's literally everywhere on Twitter).....

Tom Hardy has been chosen as the next Bond according to reports.

Dude gets to play evil young Picard clone, Bane and now 007? Not bad.

I'm totally fine with this, if this is the choice. I think that he would make a fine 007.

    I support this decision.

He should use the Bane voice for his Bond character.

Suspect there's very little behind the Hardy rumours, but I understand it's proving a popular choice amongst many. I do agree that he would be a great Bond, but I think he'd be a bad choice following straight behind Craig - I'd say they're a little too similar. In fact, if I had a say in these things, I'd give Bond a bit of a break. Unless No Time To Die is particularly good I think the franchise could do with a rest. Personally I think they've done all they can, and carrying on straight away with Hardy (or even somebody else along the same lines) would soon lead to increasingly tired films.
Saying that - I did hear an interesting suggestion from @DutchBondFan - a Hardy led Bond period refresh. I don't think Eon would ever do that - take Bond back to the sixties (post-war/cold-war/whatever) - but just to really change things up a bit, without going down the female/black/whatever Bond route (which I'd be very happy with, but at this point could come across as a lazy way to make a change).
Does anybody really expect an announcement anytime soon, Hardy or otherwise? For now I'll just be glad to see a good film for Craig to bow out on. Fingers crossed.

    An entire year. Fuck.

What's the point? Will things be more back to normal in six months?

It must be totally crazy to sit on such a movie for an entire year... I wonder if they regret releasing the new song so early and the official video just recently or if they did that on purpose to keep the flame alive for this movie. Personally I was really looking forward to this next to Tenet and Dune in 2020.

They were all set to go last April and started the rollout--Craig on SNL, the title song, posters, etc. And then this happened...

Yeah, I saw the ads and the product placement at the beginning of this year, yet the official music video was released 5 days ago only for them to call it quits until 2021 now. That's what I'm wondering about. But of course this doesn't make anything better, we will have to wait a long time either way.

would be a huge get for Apple TV+ . have had it for about 2 weeks now and though the material is limited it's easily my favorite streaming service- literally everything I've watched so far has been good to great.
