I'm pretty sure Pam is the only good character left on this show, I had to fast forward through the Rock Band scene cause I couldn't take it.

I like that Bill and Eric have that buddy-cop chemistry now.

It's testament to what a good actress Deborah Ann Woll is even with her story taking a dive last season (along with Jason, Lafayette and the ongoing writers hating Tara) she is still able to sell her character.

Man, Sam was right about Emma. That scene with Jessica and Steve Newlin had me laughing my ass off. I wished Tara had slapped both Sookie and LaFayette and went... "Aw Hell Naw!!!!" The stuff about Pam's past was really good though the episode was OK.

Somehow it doesn't surprise me that Pam was a Madame.

Also, Robert Patrick will be joining the cast as Alcide's dad.

I initially read that as Richard Patrick.

And am I the only one who thinks Pam's make-up has been on the decline? Stop with the smokey eye already.

I hate the writers for letting me think they finally killed her off

She's even more annoying than before, which I didn't think possible :/

This season hasn't quite sucked me in yet. I've been enjoying the were-pack plot the most at the moment; I've been waiting for Tara scenes if only to see if they actually, you know... Do something useful with her. The fact that she's just been running around tearing up the house every single scene she's had makes me wish Lafayette HAD staked her.

Yea the werewolf line and the order/russell line are the only things in this season that is worth anything. I am not digging anything else from this season so far.

So is Salome Steve Newlin's maker?

Also, if being a vampire means you can see stars and galaxies, then sign me up.

Debbie Pelt's dad was Tara's dad on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I'm just the tiniest bit concerned that I was immediately aware of this.

I'd trade it for Pam's texting skills.

Pam is still the best character on the show. Her texting skills and how her past makes her far more interesting than everyone else with a few exceptions in Jessica.

I do love Steve Newlin, he's hilarious.

Tara is just getting on my nerves as usual. Lets play the "I'll never forgive you" vibe every time Sookie and Lafayette are in the same scene for a couple of episodes. I agree though only the two stories mentioned above are worth watching.

This show has been getting worse by the season. I find it practically unwatchable now. I braved through the first episode but couldn't make it to the end of the second. It's crap.

With the exception of Pam, Eric, Jessica, Jason, Andy, and whatever elements of violence and nudity that's around. Those are the only things that is making me still watch the show that is now becoming very frustrating to watch. If this season ends with one of those characters dead with no chance of any of them coming back. I'm through. I've already decided to stop watching Californication because of how stupid it got. I don't think I can deal with another dumbass ending.

She'll be killed off once she fully accepts who she is, by meeting the true death somehow. I can just feel that's the direction their headed in.

I actually liked this weeks' episode quite a bit, way better than last week's. Really liking that we're getting to see Pam's back story and Alcide finally sees how terrible Sookie is. Thought it was funny that the Authority Vampire Tech girl was the chick from Napoleon Dynamite.

Not as funny if you already knew her also as a tech girl from Veronica Mars Any character from Napoleon Dynamite in serious role is always a shock though! On the topic of "Hey, they're from" it was nice to see Doctore from the Spartacus series, and The Swede from Hell on Wheels!
