I received the pre-sale code (purchased an AV bundle, and bought NIN tickets to Vegas previously).
I didn't plan on hitting any festival shows this year, but it's bad form not to go to a show on your birthday.

My email was in my junk folder. Not sure why since the Webster Hall show wasn't. Guess it's not local either since I'm in Jersey.
This is two days after my birthday. I am gonna try to do this one. I would MUCH prefer this to the Houston show.
THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS for me and the presale.
Oh man, a Vegas gig. Shit, I got to go to this.
FFS, I already have my flight and hotel all scheduled for Sacramento for Oct 19th til the 23rd and they do this. Urgh... The more messed up part is, I WAS considering flying to Vegas originally for the KMFDM/ohGr show on the 19th and then flying to SAC but it was just not feasible. Now I regret not stopping at Vegas first.
This is probably the "Sacramento Surprise" now that Friday the 20th is taken up, no way anything is gonna be planed in SAC now.
I don't like this new last minute surprise announcement of shows. Makes it very hard for someone that travels for shows to plan for. I certainly hope this isn't what they mean by how they want to do shows from now on.... This better not be how the 2018 shows/tour unfolds as well.

Received Vegas code. Across continent. Can't do it. Lol.
EDIT: Gone

since i prefer to drive vs flying (don't like flying much)
i also have the VIP pck to include hotel room for Aftershock starting the 20th.
i will prob go to the Vegas show (meeting my bro there..)
maybe we can work something out if you want to catch the Vegas show too..(?)
I also got the email and won't be able to attend, since I already splurged on Riot Fest, which was a MUCH closer/realistic show. If anyone that didn't receive one is interested in using my code, PM me.
Anyone need a code?
I love the fact that people who can't go are sharing their codes. And goddamnit I can't afford Vegas, but I think I'm going to convince my husband to go tonight anyways... I rather hope this isn't the trend... 25 days before a show announcement.

These last minute announcements are exciting and anxiety inducing at the same time for someone who has to get time off work and book a flight and hotel. I'm going to try for this one since there's a direct flight and it's not a festival show. I saw both shows at The Joint last tour and loved the tiered GA, although I don't remember seating above GA...
Ugh, not surprising. That's why, unless someone has a physical limitation, GA floor trumps seats for the mere fact that it allows you to move away from assholes.
Ehhhh... last time I was there was for Tension. I was standing by a bunch of assholes in GA (some drunk, some not). It's Vegas, pick your poison and cross your fingers. The crowd for any show there is pretty shitty. It's kind of like a festival in a venue with people over dressed for the occasion. 2014 at Planet Hollywood wasn't much different.
Plan is to try to get a ticket for the Vegas show, and then figure out how to make it work so that I can go.
Vegas is a no go for me. So, if you need a code... Send me a message.
I could use a code please. I guess I got kicked out of the email system during the whole failure of firebrand. V
Good luck to you all buying tickets for LV!
*edit* That was painless. See you all in SIN (dub) city!

Anyone have a code? I would gladly purchase/trade/etc. Have many live show tapings, etc.
Got it! Woot! See you in Vegas.
got mine too
That was the most painless NIN pre-sale ever.
Interesting. Is it possible they just put all of the tickets up for presale with the plan being to sell whatever's left tomorrow? Or maybe GA floor is all presale so as many of us super fans can be up close with the casuals relegated to the back. God, how amazing would that be?
Nobody could consider that with 3 weeks notice, and potentially having plans to see them in Sacramento, theres no need to go to Vegas? Also, planning to go to Vegas in itself, PLUS everything else happening in the city that weekend and even in l.a. or phoenix just not letting you go? I cant go to the vegas show cause i already have something else happening, thats just how life is.
There was also a presale today and that looks to have sold well due to there only being single tickets left in the balcony, and only floor left.
Most presales are a reasonable batch of tickets. Rarely do promoters let everything be available during presale and then essentially ''sell out'' the show before general. then you have whats called a dead onsale. That happens really when somebody most likely is going to add a second show, which in this case is not possible at all.
I recall there being a public presage for the two Tension Vegas shows, and could easily get tickets throughout the day that was being sold. The code was easily Google-able.
Maybe the pre sale just just isn't selling well for the obvious reasons (short notice, not everyone lives near Vegas, plans already on seeing them in Cali, etc.). If there are tickets still available right before the show I'd be a bit worried about how in demand NIN is these days. We'll see I guess.
To add to what others have already say, there only was a 3 week notice. Normally the NIN Vegas shows have months of heads up time so people around the world can save up, make plans, etc. You're not going to get that with 3 weeks of notice. Plus the show is on a Friday, not much time at all to plan taking time off from work. Hell I'm working more than half the day before I fly in for the show.
