So...is Rob Sheridan off the NIN camp for now? Like I mean, he does seem to have more than a few other gigs on his plate now, so maybe it was a good time for him to move onto other things? Or is still behind the scenes, pulling strings? Discuss.

Rob Sheridan@ihatecrayons No, I'm not involved with the new NIN stuff. I've been off adventuring, and working on my own projects.
Huh, well there you go.
He might be one of these... I'm guessing it's the John Crawford in the last three

I think it is this one: http://kraw.net
Yup, willing to bet that's him. You can also find his work here http://instagram.com/kraw. I'm familiar with some of the work he's done in the past with Alessandro's buddy Surachai.
I remember Kraw from SeemsLikeSalvation Nothing News, back when he worked at Tower Records in LA
...speaking of Rob Sheridan:

I met Matt Inman at a Tesla convention (long story) and to my surprise and delight, I learned he was a huge NIN fan, was online pals with Rob, and used to visit the Hotline all the time - he's a big Meathead fan. Which, once you think about it, all makes so much sense. Super nice dude, fwiw.
if kraw.net is the real deal than I am very happy to have him onboard. his artwork has bits and pieces in it that we already had with prior NIN releases, yet it looks like we can get a reimagination of some with teeth artwork blended together with some tetsuo or lynch (came back haunted video) madness. color me excited!
Did anyone notice that A Minute to Breathe video was in fact co-directed by Crawford?
Maybe he's gonna direct something for the EP?
Trent has been liking Kraw stuff on instagram for the past six months or so
I like Rob's work, but I am happy to see Trent get some fresh blood into the mix. Of course, I would be pleased with more Russell Mills' work.
One thing I loved about Rob's work kmaybe more than the actual album art) were the little snippets in between. He would update nin.com constantly with awesome photos and behind the scene looks of the studio work.
I noticed that this has been more or less abandoned recently for Juno/BtF/Patriot's Day and I guess by that time Rob had already abandoned the ship. Still I hope that we'll see something similar in the future. Becaused these images were alway highly aesthetic and helped build up excitement for future releases and concerts!
And apart from that they made nice desktop backgrounds and screensavers.
The thing with Rob is that NIN was pretty much his full-time job. He had lots of time to be present for everything and the latitude to create and post a lot of different material through a lot of different avenues. Looking over Kraw's portfolio, although he's a NIN fan, it looks like he's full-up busy and in-demand with lots of Hollywood and modeling projects. NIN is another project for him (and maybe one he's more passionate about than others), but ultimately, it's one of many, and maybe he only has time to do what Trent NEEDS to be done (vinyl jackets, etc.), but not all the extra goodies.
I wish when it came to existing albums, the original artists had some involvement... TDS = Russell Mills, TF = David Carson, and so on.
Seems strange to have an outsider handle definitive editions of earlier albums.
I believe I read a few years ago that David Carson was working on The Fragile special edition (or whatever it was called at the time). I am curious if any of that ended up in the new Fragile releases.
So, um, something I just thought about.
If Rob is actually officially out for the future of NIN, does that mean everything he had a hand in that hasn't come out will... never come out?
I remember people bugging Rob about (Wave Goodbye?) footage, to which he joked about deleting some of it every time he's asked about it. And there's also that Rob was part of world creation for Year Zero.
And a full member of HTDA..
The real John Crawford... http://www.pmkane.com/crawford/gallery.htm
Da fook is going on in here?...
it's just @kraw trying to confuse us in a vain attempt to stop those damned linkedin notifications from NIN fans on his apple watch
(welcome on board!)
I'm treading lightly @arsenic

Sweet.
We may have an NiNsider.

So, @kraw - I figure this is quite a long shot, but it wouldn't hurt to try: I don't supposed you've got the ability/permission and inclination to share some of the thoughts behind re-using the AATCHB/Still artwork for the recent NTAE release? There's been plenty of theories floating around here, of course, many of which sound reasonable, but it remains something of an enigma. Thanks regardless!
(I think it's likely the NIN camp want to keep us guessing about it, but who knows? Perhaps they're just waiting for the question to be asked. )
Rob must be be feeling all kinds of derka derrrrrr
