I feel like there's got to be some significance to the very intentional use of the Still artwork and lettering. Even the name of the album "Not The Actual Events" alludes to some sort of deception or misconception.

And I loved the album blabla like others. However I would call all those missing tags, ugly chars, bad early mails, bad link protection, no multiple formats in once, no booklet or credits or halo a fail in selling an EP. I made two orders, the first with NTAE, the second a few days later with 3 definitive vinyls.
After I made the first order, I clicked the download link, and as there was no clear indication that the download link was supposed to be downloading an image as a placeholder, I thought there was something wrong with my browser, so tried a variety of browsers and settings and the download counter reached 0.

Today, I received 3 "Surprise!" emails, all with identical text and link: all 3 links were the same link to my SECOND order: the definitive vinyls, NOT to my order of NTAE.

I went back to the NTAE download page using the link in the original order confirmation email, but the counter is still 0.

I normally don't pre-order shit, but I naively thought that Trent might finally hire people who have their shit together. I don't know what the fuck these assclowns at Firebrand think they're doing, but clearly, Firebrand are no better than musictoday, Trent made a mistake trusting Fireband, I made a mistake trusting Trent, and I made a mistake attempting to purchase these legally, and should have just waited for a torrent.

Since the question of upsampling eventually always comes up: it appears that "Dear World," and "Burning Bright (Field On Fire)" are upsampled from 44.1. Is this a distribution mistake?

Still originally came packaged as part of the And All That Could Have Been live performance release. Pure speculation on my part but the pricing of the physical component is roughly the same as a Blu-Ray.

i got the same email upon ordering. I thought maybe we were getting surprised with an early release (you know like what actually did happen), found out we weren't so put it aside. Got the email yesterday with downloads still available but nothing to download.

Additionally someone on Facebook a few days ago said she did the same thing with the image file and was told by customer service (something that it would be nice if there was an actual link to on the page) that when the actual album was released the counter would be reset.

So again - your personal distaste for him aside, this is a nin.com fuckup.

I can't download it either. I had trouble remembering my dropbox password and the number of attempts I made to login (3 i guess) has kept me from now being able to download it even though I never started a download.

I know the MP3 files had lyrics but did anyone else's FLAC files have no tags at all? I thought only WAV files can't be tagged.

I got multiple error messages when downloading and unzipping the files but they play fine, so I'm not sure what the issue was.
