I'm gonna guess that's an incomplete listed set since it was actually a headline show without Zombie? But then again who knows with this guy anymore. He doesn't care about his performance, his fans, or anything really.

Father in law runs the company that handles hosting duties at the venue the show is at tomorrow night, so as with any show that comes I can get in free.
’Need tickets?’
’Hahaha no thanks.’
’It’s gonna be a bad show isn’t it.’
’Hahaha yes.’
Friend just sent me a few vids of MM. Ohhhhh boy this is legit bad to see. It’s become some sort of casino circuit, goin’ through the motions, self parody shit.
I was there last night, i've seen him worse, way worse. He wasn't half bad when his set started, but he got progressively worse as it went along. He didn't even sing his last 2 songs really. He blamed it on a "concussion" from someone from the crowd throwing something at him. He said he had a concussion and forgot the words lol...... I don't think it was a water bottle hitting his head that made him forget his words, lol. He also drank and smoked a joint periodically between his songs. Not to mention, there were 5+ mins of nothing/silence between song changes.
Zombie was on point though. For "Helter Skelter" Zombie said "sometimes I do this song with a partner, and sometimes I do it alone" as he looked to the side of the stage and a roadie gave a "aint gonna happen" signal, he was like "guess tonight i'm doing it alone" lol
They were charging $50 for t-shirts!!!! $100 for longsleeve shirts. What a scam!
You made the right choice by sitting this one out. I only went cuz my girlfriend has not seen either live before, she mainly wanted to see Zombie, which wasn't bad. I've seen him 3 times now, and this was his best show yet. If it were a Manson show without him, no way I would have went.

Ouch
I'm a little lost, is the new album supposed to be self-titled? I wasn't following the news all that well, but on RYM it says the new MM album will be self-titled?

MM said in a recent interview that he thought maybe now is the time to put out a self titled album because this one supposedly takes elements from every previous album. I dunno if I'd take that as fact that it will be, but hey it means he gets to put even less effort so why not?
After that last one, I have no faith that this will be good.
Funko is putting out a Manson Pop next year lol

He has done a lot of work outside of his country career. If you haven't, check out "Black Ribbons", a musical collaboration he did with Stephen King. It's not as cheesy as it sounds. It's kinda like Year Zero as far as themes go, dystopian future, totalitarian government, all that good stuff. The production on Countach is good too, even though the songs are kinda moldy as far as 80's tracks go. Even if you take his country music into account, he stays away from most of the pop country tropes and tries to follow more in his father's footsteps. His father being legendary country artist Waylon Jennings, by the way.
Whether any of that translates into Marilyn not singing about the dumbest possible shit, well, jury's still out. I expect it to be musically good though, based on Shooter's resume.
HUD is the first Manson album I almost 100% enjoyed since GAoG. There was enough ACS vibes on there to keep my hope alive, but this next one might be the coffin nail, depending. But hey, if it sucks, we'll always have a solid decade of great Manson music.
Also, to me, the release of the Funko Pop means the official end to his career of being shocking.
The God of Fuck is dead, long live the God of Funko Pop.
Just saw he’s playing out here in Phx in November. Saw him last year with Zombie and it was meh. Saw him earlier last year alone and it was decent. Told the wife, she said if it was with someone she’d maybe go but if it’s him alone, she’ll probably pass. I wish it wasn’t such a risk seeing this guy now.

Someone please remind me that I shouldn't buy tickets for the LA gig....someone....please.....anyone....
He was god awful here in Sioux Falls, is that enough?
Do not buy tickets for the LA gig. Do not buy tickets for the LA gig. Do not buy tickets for the LA gig. Do no buy tickets for the LA gig.
I still like Marilyn Manson, but I found that funny. (Which I'm sure is the point, but after being on ETS for so long, I just can't help it anymore.)
With that being said, I totally agree. As horrible as it is to see shows end up well, horrible, it can also be literally sad, as I've mentioned before. Disappoint, frustration, regret, cringe factors and wasted money aside, there's also a depressing element to it too, where it clearly would've been so much better to not have attended any shows.
This is why I too have to accept that attending Marilyn Manson concert is a gamble. I know mine went very wrong, which is also an understatement since it ended the show on the spot due the prop crushing his leg. I'll never forget it. (And well, how could I?) And what a shame, since he actually seemed to be doing so well at that gig.
On the flip side... did anybody actually avoid a Marilyn Manson concert that actually turned out much better than expected, or even excellent for that matter? I guess even if it did happen, that's probably a rare occurrence... or perhaps never occurred to start with, and remained okay at best.

Last time I saw Manson live, I would have paid the ticket price again for an Eternal Sunshine operation that could have wiped my memory of the show
You are not paying to see Marilyn Manson.
You are paying to see an alcoholic Brian Warner slur his way through songs he helped write over 20 years ago.
You are paying to see an alcoholic Brian Warner who is no longer even remotely close to the capability he had in 2009, well after Marilyn Manson ended.
Marilyn Manson broke up in 2005.
This is a drunk doing drunk karaoke.
I spoke with my father in law after the show here with Rob Zombie a week or so ago, him being 65 and having only a layman's understanding of MM (beyond of course knowing of him, his shtick, when he was at his peak during ACSS, etc.) and his review of the show was simply 'You were right, there's a reason Zombie is now the headliner every night. He had some Mick Jagger in him, hopping from stage front block to the next...at least he wasn't out of breath two minutes in.'
Furthermore, regarding the mentioned show here, my girlfriend knows someone she works with who obtained a backstage pass. He was trying to meet the bands before their sets, but no luck. Apparently Manson was passed out/sleeping in a hallway before his set and needed to be woken up to go preform lol.
Ugh....why does Zombie keep agreeing to tour with Manson?
I think it's just consistent money for both of them. Tours are the moneymaker for artists at that point in their careers, and there is enough crossover between the two fanbases that if you were on the fence about seeing one, you might be persuaded by seeing the other and vice versa.
I wish he would go to fucking rehab and get some counseling or something. For real. It's not too late to drag the sinking ship in. I'm not just talking about his career, but his life at this point. Touring is physically exhausting for a healthy person. For somebody shitwrecked on drugs and booze constantly it's even worse.
His legacy doesn't have to be this.
