Cool! Would be nice if we got a 25th anniversary repress on vinyl, but I'm not holding my breath.

Can't even remember the last time I listened to that. Maybe I'll give that a spin tomorrow.

How weird is that. Randomly put that album on at the gym yesterday. Had no idea it was the 25th birthday.

Also found myself wishing for a remastered release. Doubt it would ever happen though.

A nicely done and comprehensive reissue of the spooky kids tapes would be more interesting, there's some fun stuff on these.

Ok I'm in the venue so hopefully ill be seeing mr. Mansboob and co.

I'm expecting him to embarrass himself in front of my hometown, but we will see how this goes. Not optimistic here guys...

Meah wasn't terrible but he was obviously trashed. Smoked a joint onstage which is ballsy considering it isn't legal here and we have a indoor smoking ban.

I taped but my right mic isn't working so it will be mono.

edit: this tape, even in mono, sounds awesome, but Manson sounds HAMBONED throughout, to the point where it's almost embarrassing.

So as I encode my Manson CDs, it's interesting to hear them again as one big solid lump.

ACSS->MA->HW is still good to listen to as is, and I like hearing how much of ACSS and MA are both in HW.

Ok guys I'm not even going to try and defend this performance, Manson is awful but the band sounds tight as hell. Brandon is a awesome new addition to the band, hopefully Brian is paying these guys well!

Download link is in the comments.

Not my tape but if you're a bitter old man (or woman) like me that longs for "the good ole days"....

Seriously if he would get with a producer that wouldn't just let him do whatever he wanted, helped him focus his ideas and write some good lyrics, hire a personal trainer and lose some weight (he is a THICC BOI), and start taking his live shows serious instead of a paycheck and phoning it in everynight, he could regain the throne as the god of fuck.

It will never happen as long as his fanbase stops kissing his ass and lets him know how much he sucks. The fact that people keep going to his shows and has yes men around him makes him believe he is doing great.

He did that when the wife and I saw him last year in Phoenix. Just kind of seemed a mess. I kind of feel bad for the guy at this point. It clearly seems he’s dealing with something but it’s too hard to tell purely based on performance. Are there any recent interviews with him? I’d like to see how he speaks to see if he’s a mess there or if the stage presence is all an act.

He seems quite buzzed in most interviews from the last few years. Then there was that episode of "The Talking Dead" a few years back where he was clearly trashed. He did an episode of Marc Maron's podcast too, and Marc admitted that Manson was drinking the whole interview.

Here's a recent interview for the tour. Contrast this with interviews from the 90's or even early 2000's, his speech pattern is way different and slurred. Sometimes when he goes on rants I'm left thinking "did he even understand the question?" This video isn't as bad as some others I've seen.

It's because he always has to be 'on'. Has to try to be witty with literally everything...and just ends up making ya cringe. Must be exhausting to not be able to just sit and answer a question without the washed-up persona needing to be fed.

Looks like there's a new bootleg of Holy Wood going around now on red vinyl. Has anyone here heard it?

In re-listening to "The Golden Age Of The Grotesque", I'm like... this is meant to be self-indulgent right? I can generally live without it now but there are some interesting songs hiding in there.

There is. That's when the albums started getting filler material, but I've said for years it makes a great ep.

POAAF has more filler than most of his albums.

Whoa that's bold, imo it has some of the least! Those songs are refined as hell.

The production is top notch, but I just don't think the songs are all that great. Good, not great. The next three albums were far better, imho.
