MORE THAN SOUNDS - Youtube metal channel, and more...

    Hello,
For a couple of years MORE THAN SOUNDS was a webzine,
it is now a Youtube channel.

The kinds of music are varied, but it's most of the time around stoner/ doom/ hard rock and alternative rock...
Most of the time I post songs from my CD or tape collection... It's not a promotional channel neither a businessman work, I do this channel on leisure time and post the songs I want to listen to.
You will also find a couple of gigs that were recorded in the north of France.

Finally I also try to be more creative, and produce more elaborated videos such as these ones:

FIVE 80'S POSTPUNK BANDS YOU NEED TO KNOW:

5 PROGRESSIVE ROCK BANDS TO ENLARGE YOUR VISION

5 SURPRISING NAPALM DEATH SUBPROJECTS FROM THE 90'S

You can visit the channel here:
    https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU1...mR4W_i35Df7BqQ

Or view the videos posted in the following messages.

The webzine is still available at this adress:

    The masters of space rock?

    RAGE Magazine.
French alternative music magazine from the 90’s.

50 FRENCH HEAVY METAL ALBUMS FROM THE 80’s.
Perhaps it was unnoticed, but in France, there were quite a lot of bands in the old school heavy metal genre.

    Here’s a new video I elaborated :
6 old school EBM/ INDUSTRIAL bands from the early 90’s.

Compilation of 6 electro industrial/ Ebm bands from the first years, at a time when the style was different…
I spent a lot of time on Photoshop, I hope you’ll see the difference.

Other songs to check out :

    SUBRIG DESTROYER
A quite crushing doom/ sludge band… I like the Godflesh alike vocals

ANAL CUNT – Every songs played at the same time.
The 50 songs of a grind album played simultaneously, the band never sounded so intense…

This week end, there was a great festival in the north of France : Rock in Bourlon !
With thick, retro, psyché or strange kinds of music… A bunch of very cool bands in quite different styles.
I was able to record 2/3 of the bands, and the rendering is often good.
I invite you to check out the videos:

    JURASSIC LEAF
Thick stoner doom, for those who like it heavy.

    MOTHERSHIP
    Very cool stoner from Texas!

    DEATH ALLEY
Hard rock very influenced by the 70’s. Great band!

    MARS RED SKY
Some doom psyché. Quite heavy and disconnected.

    SPECTRUM ORCHESTRUM
Quite dark and strange jazz/ Progressive rock.

    KOONDA HOLAA
Between blues and psychedelic, totally in the 70’s.

    SANDPIPERS
Technical band between post hardcore, progressive and stoner.

    VODUN
Some kind of fusion, hard, stoner with many afro influences.

    JAMES LEG
A quite nervous rock/ Blues band.

    THE OBSESSED - Interview 1991

    BALANCE OF TERROR :

    WITCHFINDER - Interview (Doom, stoner)
    https://morethansoundszine.blogspot....om-stoner.html
