For the love of god would someone at AMC show some mercy and put this debacle out of it's misery?

Last night's ending was def creepy for a sec, but seeing the Whisperers in the daylight just makes them look like Slipknot. Us rockers are going to have a hard time with this, haha.
Jesus christ
I'm approaching it as I've got to make a great 10th season. I can't assume anything," she added. "It's a thing that writers certainly talk about a lot. You can fall into a trap just planning ahead and saving the great material for later. We always have to approach it as — we got to put the good material in now."-Angela Kang
SO.
Sounds like the showrunner might be approaching next season as, possibly, the last?
And then maybe things get wrapped up in the movies?
And in like, 6 years, we get an inevitable reboot with grown up Judith? (That last part is pure speculation.)

I've made a few snarky comments over the years on this forum about not reading comic books.
I'm 85 (edit:110 now) issues into TWD (which I've read in about a week,) the first comic I've read other than a couple of issues of Archie in the fucking 80's, and I'd like to apologize for said comments.
I get it now.
I ALSO REALLY understand something you said awhile back, @bobbie solo , that you "just check in to see what they've done to your beloved comic."
I ALsO get that.
I think this show would annoy me a hell of a lot more, had I already read/been reading the books.
I hate "the book was better than the movie" arguments, BUT, in this case, now that I know the source material , the show obviously could have been a lot better.

well, sorry for triple post, but no one seems to want to talk in this thread.
i thought last night's episode was another BADASS hour of tv from their certified BADASS showrunner.
For the love of god, can't we get Kang to direct the movies? having gimple direct...i'm afraid it's gonna be Lucas and the prequels all over again.
God help us all.
Can't lie...this season's been a definite uptick for us...really enjoying it.
Alpha is def creepy
I have grown up through my 20's & 30's for the past 16 years with these characters. I read the book in trade, so I check in with these people that I love 2 or 3 times a year. That's why it always stung a bit when the show got certain things wrong (ahem fucking ANDREA ahem). Kirkman has done such a good job of fleshing them out, making them human, and making the reader care.
Daryl in the Whisperer mask tonight was tight.
God damn it, Henry.![]()
He’s getting a bit annoying isn’t he?
Apparently people still don’t believe RJ is real (the young boy Michonne checked on while she was talking to Judith). Could he be a figment of her imagination? I think only Michonne has interacted with him/acknowledged him in the scenes he’s been in.
Episode goes hard as fuck.
My predictions for who, for SURE, dies this season are:
Ezekiel. Henry. Enid. Rosita. And at least one from whatsername's group.
I'll add a QUITE PoSSibly, for, oddly enough, Lydia, the way things are going.
What do y'all think?
Here’s the latest news I remember off the top of my head:
- Dwight will be in Fear TWD
- Fear will feature snow, which will tie in somehow to the first Rick movie which will also have snow in it
- AMC are producing another spin-off series
- Michonne has been confirmed to be leaving
Feels like a really different show these days.
With Michonne leaving, do you think they'll kill her off or make it look like Rick's departure?
Henry is getting annoying. Maybe they'll just kill off his girlfriend - I forget her name already, Alpha's daughter.
Does the Rosita, Gabriel, and Siddiq love triangle happen in the comics? I'm not caring for this story.
They can't kill off Alpha's daughter yet in the show.
Rosita/Gabriel/Siddiq is not a thing in the comics.
Last night's episode was great! The fight scene between Beta and Darryl was awesome.
But only 3 episodes left already???!! C'mon....
Last night's episode was good, but not something I want to watch when there are only 3 episodes left, haha. Michonne killing the kids was rough, but that part where the kid had the knife inches away from her pregnant belly - I would've done the same.
I want to see Negan bash Beta and Alpha's heads in - that would be awesome.
Whoa, that would be awesome! Too bad it won't happen. Meaning giving it to other character.
Wow tonight’s episode in my opinion, hands down one of the best in years. This season is fucking good.
Winter is coming.
Did anyone else feel like this was the season finale? I forgot that there’s another episode coming.
Spoiler: boo for Enid getting the stake. hurrah for Tara getting it!
