Seeing this band open for Amon Amarth in the fall. Pretty cool.

I was just about to post that. Sounds very good. I listened to it at work. You can definitely tell who was the main driving force behind that band. I love the Metal Blade record label but they signed the wrong band...which is mediocre at best.

Why is this band not more popular?

On a side note, apparently a new Dawn of Solace is being released this year!

Not sure if this is the right thread, but I totally forgot about the new Death Angel album being released today. It's killer!

Looking for some death, thrash and stoner-doom album recommendations from this year (I also like some hardcore stuff like Full of Hell or Code Orange that have weird noise or synth type elements but I'm picky). Some of my favorites so far in 2019 are the new Possessed, PISSGRAVE, Lowest Creature, Devour the Fetus, Waste of Space Orchestra, Inferi, Sunn O))), etc. Prefer kind of the old school death metal like Cannibal Corpse, Death and Sabbath worship stuff like Sleep is cool most of the time.

New Immortal is still awesome and I love Demonaz too but I'm loyal to Abbath entirely. I cannot wait till the album. His new female bassist looks so badass in corpse paint too.

I hope they roll around my state when he goes out on tour for this.

Mind Power, who feature former A Life Once Lost frontman Robert Meadows and more within their numbers, have released their new EP “Q3“. Numerous guests appear on the outing, as you can see via the below track listing:

01 – “See Me” (feat. Cory Brandan of Norma Jean)

02 – “Grounded” (feat. Chad Kapper of Frontierer)

03 – “Frail Man” (feat. Bob Carpenter of Vexes)

04 – “Put Out This Fire” (feat. Chris Margarite of TIME, etc.)

Carpenter‘s guest appearance on “Frail Man” serves as a mini “A Life Once Lost reunion as he previously played guitar for the band. You can stream the whole thing below and via leading streaming services.

Not huge into Deathcore (aside Whitechapel, Lorna Shore, Carnifex, Thy Art Is Murder) but I like Fit for An Autopsy. Great melodies and clean vocals.

Slightly weird question... so the remix of the Rob Zombie song "What Lurks On Channel X (XXX Mix)" is credited to Spacetruckers... anyone know who they are? I like the remix and there's not a lot of information I can find about them... so, may as well ask here.
