That performance was awesome. Wish they'd done an encore though. That part where Jamie showed the empty venue and then gave the I Am King speech was fucking SOLID. Very cool to see him step out from behind the kit to front the band.

Good chance that won't be an issue you will have to worry about for a while.

Indeed. CDC just sent out an alert that "recommends that for the next 8 weeks, organizers (whether groups or individuals) cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 50 people or more throughout the United States."

This album is going to be hard to beat... still on constant repeat. Although their reviews are a joke I still can’t believe Pitchfork only gave this 4.5.

Wow, I couldn't believe that reading what I just quoted from you, so I had to look. I'm floored.

What the fuck do the pretentious douchebags on that website want from music artists?

Their comments aren't totally off base. The album does feel overstuffed at times. Kind of wish the production were a little more raw as well. All of that said, I really enjoy the album (on my fifth listen) and Pitchfork, as well as most other reviews, are stupid.

That reviewer seems to favor black metal and heavier stuff. Doesn't like Boris, lol...

I favor and like black metal more than hardcore but saying this album is bad or mediocre as a metal fan is baffling.

Old Man Gloom just can't resist playing pranks. Once again, they secretly made two albums. Seminar VIII: Light of Meaning, which we knew about a few days ago, and Seminar IX: Darkness of Being, which they announced just now.

Swipe through this instagram post to read all about it:

And you can listen to Seminar IX in its entirety here!:

Finally had a chance to listen to Underneath . Holy crap. Intensity is off the chart without losing clarity and purpose.

YOUR. FUCKING. END. Now w/fucking Billy Rhymer from DEP on drums. Good lord.

END have shared some big news, including a June 05th release date for their new album “Splinters From An Ever-Changing Face” via Closed Casket Activities. Confirming the early rumors as well, the band have indeed added ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan drummer to their ranks, replacing Andrew McEnaney (Trade Wind, ex-Structures).The group’s latest lineup runs as follows:
    Vocals: Brendan Murphy (Counterparts)
Guitar: Will Putney (Fit For An Autopsy)
Guitar: Gregory Thomas (ex-Shai Hulud, etc.)
    Bass: Jay Pepito (Reign Supreme)
Drums: Billy Rymer (Thoughtcrimes, ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan)
