Just finished the first season. Fan-fucking-tastic.

Ya it's pretty good. Sometimes the narration is a little much but sometimes I can live with.

My only problem is that sometimes the subtitles are too fast. there are times when the spoken line is on the screen for like a half a second.
now i speak PRETTY damn good spanish but there are some words i don't know, especially when you get in to the 15 plus different verb tenses.

And my wife doesn't speak it at all.

I posted about this in the netflix thread. I really liked the realistic part of the subtitles. They didn't fix the reality for any one type of viewer. I liked it.

Just watched the first episode... yeah, it hooked me.

narcos on my list. i watched the first season & got sidetracked. even though i don't speak spanish, can understand some of it. must be immersion. my problem with netflix lately is i keep getting sidetracked with the treasure chest of monty python stuff they have unleashed. plenty i haven't seen. i don't laugh much at this point in my life but their stuff slays me. the fawlty towers episode where basil gets conked on the head & has german guests is 1 of the funniest sitcom episodes ever by anybody. just don't mention the war!
