    I think this is exactly what they're doing. I have friends in bands who pressed 500 copies of a 7" ten years ago who still have around 100 left over now. It's understandable.

    i still have over 100 copies of the 7" i pressed 250 of four years ago, and my band has over 200 copies of the 300 we pressed of our album earlier this year. sometimes spending a little more money per unit to do a very limited run makes more sense.

    I completely get it but for a "supergroup" with well known musicians and fantastic music the limited press of release copies of music related merchandise is disheartening.

    I'll be the one to buy the album day one but just the limited runs of merch and music releases is just a fracture to the releases in my opinion. That's all. OPINION.

    They are rewarding the people who follow their band from the beginning religiously. Im sure it will be on a grander scale as they get bigger.

    They are rewarding those that didn't have to be told to sign up for the mailing list to learn about the stuff first.

    As soon as I got the email that day, I didn't check any of the actual content - I put up the post on the forum after only seeing the subject line. Next time, I'll really be more careful. I wonder if they're watching us here, too? Haha. I hope I'll get my t-shirt soon!

    The email said it would take at least an extra 12 weeks because the vinyl plant was backed up.

    EVERY plant in the US is backed up. i'm assuming the ones overseas are, as well. the vinyl resurgence is great for those of us into vinyl, but so many things are getting pressed now that everything is delayed. someone needs to open a new pressing plant (or three)

    The björk coloured vinyl was the only thing I've really had any issues with lately but have read a lot about the issues. I thought I'd read somewhere recently about a new pressing plant opening but can't remember where it was, where I read it or even if it wasn't a dream...

    I'm thinking it might be a music video (not ruling out that it is for a new song) because I seem to remember one of their emails saying they were shooting one.

    edit: My shirt came today and I was not lucky enough to get 1 of the 3 "extras" they inserted. Sweet shirt though.

    I think I remember seeing a release date for the record being Sept 25. I may be wrong.

    haha i just came here to post it, too, but BOTH of you beat me to it

    kind of like the minimalistic approach to the video. good job rob!

    as far as the song, i'm glad this is the extended dance mix version, because it's fun, but not quite the vibe i was hoping for from the album. still sexy, though.

    New section of the website has the letters V H S which are each clickable.

    The take you to one of 3 sites this page:
    http://www.theblackqueen.com/vvv/
    http://www.theblackqueen.com/hhh/
    http://www.theblackqueen.com/sss/

    EDIT:

    Passwords are as follows:
    All three passwords come from an unsolved murder in Australia from over 60 years ago. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taman_Shud_Case

    V = MLIAOI

    H = MLIABOAIAQC
    S = ITTMTSAMSTGAB

    Videos:

    This feels very NIN circa The Fragile era...and now knowing that Rob Sheridan is involved...it all makes sense.

    Also this (haha 3 copies)...

    Three unique VHS's. One each mailed to three random owners of the "The End Where We Start" shirt. Contents of the VHS are as of now only known to recipients. Disclosure to others is encouraged. Catalogue #: TBQ002

    Yeah thats what the videos above are from but digitized to the TBQ website.

    I definitely think RS has something to do with this.

    Nice work but do you mind if I ask how the passwords were discovered?

    A DEP fan on Facebook sent them too me and said they had been going over all of it on a DEP forum.

    Not sure how it was exactly discovered though.
