^^^ Unusual, but interesting take on the song. Not sure if I like it, but well done. Kinda Wolfsheim-ish.

I made a little PHM inspired thing for your listening pleasure. Contains elements of Head Like a Hole, Down In it, Kinda I Want To, Sin, That's What I Get and Ringfinger.

    That.
    Is.
    Awesome.

I downloaded it and shared it within the first minute.

You need to make it longer or make more of them.

EDIT: I listened to your mix / mashup all night long, on repeat, while studying for an exam. I even wrote my paper faster and better due to the maintained rhythm of this "song". Sounds weird, I know, but that's how I study the best. Thank you.

A real good friend of mine covered Lights in the Sky with a female vocalist.

Give it a listen and your thoughts/opinions are appreciated:

That LITS cover is GREAT. LITS has been my favorite "sad song" ever since it came out. It almost seems like the female vocal gives it a brand new perspective, more compassionate.

i just have a problem with the vocals. the rest i think is a very good attempt at recreating the electronic sounds of the original.

A one-take rendition of Lights In The Sky on a £20 ukulele. You were warned.

    Speaking of ukelele's...

I got really bored tonight and had my iphone and a ukelele (which i can't play) in sight and decided it would be a good idea to cover Capital G. I have no idea why. Let the hating commence!

My cover of the guitar part in Hurt (from the Wave Goodbye tour). Haven't seen tabs or any versions of it on Youtube, so I figured I would give it a shot.

    Missing ☹

Also the profile he linked to has no mixes associated with it.

    Any idea where it's gone?

    UCNX - Now I'm Nothing/Terrible Lie

Hey y'all. I'm back, if anyone remembers the 10 or so posts I did before the original forum crashed, ha. Anyway, I wanted to throw this out to the wolves to see a) if we did a good job and b) get critiques from REAL NIN fans on how to improve it at all. My industrial band UCNX (DSBP Records, check us out! Or not, whatever.) is putting out a remixes & covers collection, and it's starting off with our version of "Now I'm Nothing/Terrible Lie". I always wanted to hear a studio recording of N.I.N., so I made one, and we decided to cover TL the way it's played live (esp. with the viciousness of the Lolapalooza '91 tour), and add a lot more guitar to it to modernize it a bit. Also sampled some stuff from the 'Purest Feeling' demo to spice it up:

    https://soundcloud.com/#dogulas/ucnx...thing-terrible

Going to take this down in a little bit, so please, if you have an opinion share it...even if you think it blows. Hopefully we did a good job, covering NIN is pretty daunting and something I didn't think I would ever want to do.
