I'm just here to throw David Fincher into the inductor pool.

Also, if Copy of A isn't on the HOF setlist I'll be shocked.

If Dave Grohl inducted NIN that would solve the available drummer question nicely. I still would prefer Robert Smith.

Foos are also touring in the summer, but currently they have a gap between Virginia Beach festival (ends on April 26) and Boston Calling (begins May 22). I guess more dates will be added in between.

Is there a Thomas Dolby connection with NIN I don't know about? The only one I can think of is that Thomas Dolby videos were played as examples of 'electronic music' in that Exotic Birds news bit!

What about John Paul Jones in the mix to induct NIN? The Hall loves Led Zeppelin I'm sure!

I could have sworn that Trent was a fan of his and was influenced by him like Numan.

FYI: Dave is heavily involved with the Hall, particularly the Nominating Board. He'd likely be there regardless.

Think it's awesome it's being held in Cleveland this year, for Trent it'll probably be something of a homecoming.

NIN will play this...NIN will play that...

Let me tell you, there will be a NIN-DM mashup and everybody will go apeshit.

It is the hall of FAME. So I would expect a famous person who is a household name.

don’t think it will be the “most appropriate to the fans” but the most famous to all that will win out.

Doesn't work like that, tables on floor are industry/media and band guests only. Public only has access to bowl seating.

If you spend at least $5000 on a membership you have access to table packages, although I'm sure it's not that simple.

My wife and I were talking about who should induct NIN yesterday, and she is definitely is not a fan of them. She suggested that I get terminal testicular cancer and sign up for make a wish so I can be the one to induct them and that I should write the speech with everyone on here consulting. She has a twisted imagination sometimes.

Hmm. I can only imagine how much they would charge for that on top of the membership fee. That's gotta be disclosed somewhere hah

    Beside you in time.....

I remember thinking to myself a few years ago what it means to inducted.

It means you will not be forgotten, at least by avid music lovers.

Imagine it... 1,000 years from now 2,000 years from now, fuck why not 10,000 years from now....... some punk kid will be looking at this list. This list should, in theory, last as long as mankind lives. It lists the most respected and talented musicians of the time.

Think outside of the box and this truly is an amazing honor, right now some kid in the 31st century is getting closer to god.

You're being really optimistic that humanity will make it that far. Nice thought though. Shit, maybe by then Iron Maiden and Judas Priest will get in.

Need a drummer. Hello Chris Vrenna. He should be in attendance anyway

Or just go the Godflesh route and use a drum machine

They have plenty of songs to play without drums.

    SICNH
    Sanctified
    Hurt
    TDTWWA
    Only
    RWIB
    Disappointed
    Vessel
    Me I'm Not
    The Great Destroyer
    The Warning

    Not happening, though, I'm sure.
