On another note, I've been waking up nearly every day with the song Virtual Insanity by Jamiroquai stuck in my head, and I've decided I fucking despise it. It's like the blueprint for all the shitty music that Maroon 5 went on to make. And then he has those stupid fluffy hats and dances like a jackass. I guess the video has some cool effects in it for the time it came out, but fuuuuuuuck this song.

What a wack angle to take by a bunch of legit musicians who have talent and have been in tolerable to good to great bands: just continue to do covers seemingly forever instead of trying to promote & stand behind their actual original material.

Shows signs of unoriginality but with talent. Not everyone can pen songs or lyrics brilliantly. No fault of their own but banking all money and popularity as being a cover artist is a weak angle to take for your long term career in my opinion.
Our friends in FFDP have had a mandatory top hit cover song every album for the past 3 to 4 albums. Weaksauce.
