Eh, he just seems to have released Friday-esque songs every few months ever since it went viral, hoping to replicate its "success". I've seen a few of them myself.

Does anyone here read AV Club's Hatesongs column? Laura Pleasants of Kylesa listed Nickelturd's "Rock Star" as the song she hates the most: http://www.avclub.com/articles/kyles...kelbac,104190/

I recently made a comment about that awful song and that the song from Barney the Dinosaur is way better than Nickelturd's garbage:

My late youngest sister used to watch this.

It was an art installation. I think this was where anyone could come up and just scream to let out frustration. She organized it, so she'd obviously take part in it.

This video was linked after the atrocious Strife song. Just awesome:

    Pot. Kettle.

(Why does he always have to tell you how metal he is?)

Any moron that states that "metal is dead" is an ignorant dipshit. Music prospers and doesn't die. There's lots of cookie cutter, generic and manufactured "metal bands" as well.

This video shows Matt Heafy as a narrow minded idiot.

Orgy are about 13 years short of any music relevancy for their genre styling. Older fans moved on or only like the older stuff and kids today don't give a rat's ass about them.

$500 for musical lessons from those guys? Yeah right. I'd use that $500 to blow on some Criterion DVDs or a vinyl player and buy some vinyl albums. Orgy's only had a few good songs and that's it.

WOW... That Trivium song is really, really terrible. Even for them thats bad, also the music video is laugh out loud bad.
I mean how hard is it to sync up the audio to his lip-synching? Shouldnt be that hard, lol.
But I do agree with what the singer said about the state of metal right now. The problem is that he doesnt realize his band is a fucking joke and part of the problem. I guess its hard to see 20/20.
As far as Orgy trying to raise money HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
I like the first 2 albums, but who cares about them now? No one, especially since its just the singer and a bunch of douches.

Yeah... that's stupid. Yet, I've heard more of the reasons for their possible split is that one of them is a drug addict and two of them have wives/girlfriends who are now acting all Yoko where one of them faked a pregnancy. Honestly, this is entertaining yet not as entertaining as this...

This board has terrible tastes in music. Look at the top threads in the music section right now. ICP? Vanilla Ice? Pearl Jam? Everlast?? Korn??? Wow...

It's like you guys are stuck in a time warp. I don't get it...

A time warp? We're NIN fans FFS. We are perpetually stuck in the 90's.

While I agree all those bands suck, you're the guy who gets all fucking excited about Animal Collective, so don't give yourself a gold star just yet

There's an easy solution instead of whinging about other people's music tastes: start a thread on bands you like.

I like how he conveniently ignores Sonoio, Gary Numan, Massive Attack, The Smiths, Rammstein, QOTSA, APC........

besides, most of the threads you mentioned are all brand new, so of course they're going to be on the front page. checking the post count would have shown you that. check yourself before you check the general population.

I would say that the most popular bands in this board are: TOOL, QOTSA, Marilyn Manson, A Perfect Circle, Mike Patton (all of their proyects), the shogaze and post punk movement and lots of indie 00's stuff...

Doesn't sound like "terrible taste" to me...

Also: Animal Colective are overrated (not bad, not awesome, just overrated...)
