that's a sick poster, but i'm still not excited for this reboot
is Philip Glass coming back to do the score, or are they going to reuse parts from it? Honestly that was my favorite part of the original
Strange they gender swapped Annie Tarrant in this new one. I don't hate it but I prefer the female lead for this kinda film.
Hmm, I actually want to watch that.
Is this a remake or a sequel? I’m hearing conflicting answers.
I can dig it. Caught the original on a late night about a month ago. Still pretty scary in the right setting!
Good trailer. I saw the original alot as a kid, but it never stuck with me as an actually good movie. Maybe I should watch it again now that I'm older and I'll get it?
I'm cautiously optimistic. The original was a unique spectacle that I really loved as a kid.
I was reading the other day about all those fucking bees. Those bees were really all over the actor Tony Todd, and in his mouth and such: I mean, of course they were- it was pre cgi- but I guess I never thought about it, and sort of assumed it was some kind of "movie magic."
anyway, he got an extra $1000 every time one of those bees stung him, and he got stung 23 times.
This fascinates me for some reason.
I also read that the director literally hypnotized the female lead, so she would be in an actual trance like state, for certain scenes.
Edit: I found an article that brings up both of these things
