This shit is exhausting.
The fucking 925 logical leaps people will make to justify this shit... put that brainpower towards something productive, bud.
It’s really something to see these “back-the-blue” assholes flipping out on this Parscale takedown. They’re so so close.

The grand jury wasn't even allowed to consider charging the cops who murdered Breonna Taylor.

2020 gives that phrase a different spin for sure.“Let me be clear: racial profiling and stops like these are wrong, unjustified, and will not be tolerated,” Mayor Marty Walsh (D) said on Twitter Wednesday. “For him and others who might have lived through an experience like this, I’m demanding that ICE stop this cruel practice of inciting fear in the lives of our residents, particularly our Black and Brown residents, and undocumented immigrants.”

there was a second call? man wtf.Amy Cooper, the white woman who called the police on a Black bird-watcher in Central Park, made a second, previously unreported call to 911 in which she falsely claimed that the man “tried to assault her,” a prosecutor said on Wednesday.
This is wacky. Nitpicking, here, I guess because most people don’t seem to know this, but ...
Assault is generally defined as an ATTEMPT or THREAT to injure another person.
Battery occurs when there is actually harmful contact with another person.
Because assault is the threat of harm, and battery is the actual act of harming another person, these two crimes are often charged together.
You can scream at someone in an aggressive way and be charged with assault, because it could be perceived by the victim as a “threat of harm.”
But “tried to assault her?” Technically, that’s tried to threaten her. Whatever the fuck THAT means.
