Is this one of those shows that's going to be cancelled because it's not real?

Honestly, I think this past year year's line up was better? Haha.

Swans, Slowdive, the Garden, Duster, Nitzer Ebb, Snow Strippers, Have a Nice Life, Lords of Acid and Danny Elfman would be the main ones I'd want to see. Used to listen to A Perfect Circle and Alice in Chains when I was younger, so maybe them just to revisit old stuff.

Shocked they had System headline again.

I don't understand how it is possible to have so many bands on a single day.
Tickets owners will be able to see 12 of them... maximum.

Yeah that's why I had to pass on this, 400 dollar GA tickets too.

Would be nice if it was spread out over two days, or better yet three.

Is Danny Elfman doing any more dates besides this one?

Yeah there's a ton of great bands, just like When We Were Young this past weekend. But b/c its so stacked and all on one day, the conflicts are going to end up being brutal for most attendees, and imo not worth going to it unless you live near Vegas, or live somewhere that doesn't get alot of shows.

Also, be aware the first time they did this fest was this past May I believe. it was hot as fuck, overcrowded, sound issues plagues the smaller stages all day, and there were alot of bottlenecks getting around. When We Were Young just finished up this weekend, is put on by Live Nation in the same downtown Vegas location, and had the same oversolld issue. Way too many people. Again. So buyer beware. People will inevitably be dumping passes to this the week of for face or below, so no rush to grab one now.

Here's the schedule from last year. If you just went between the main two stages, you could see 14 bands, but if you just spent all day at one of the smaller stages, you could see 20 bands. Obviously, most people are going to want to do a mix, so most likely somewhere in between those numbers, and that of course assumes showing up when gates open.

But yeah, I know it's not realistic, but I would love if festival shows released the schedule at the same time they released the lineup so we could actually get a sense of which bands we'll be able to see.

You what sucks more than inescapable clashes? Bands forced to play 20-25 minute sets. Pretty sure it sucks for the fans and bands alike.

Yeah, I remember feeling kind of sad when last year's was announced and there were once-huge bands buried in the fine print. It's like that feeling when a band stops playing the big arenas in town and starts playing at the casino an hour outside of the city.
