I expected to come in here seeing everyone happy..didn't expect to end up being one of so few lucky to get great seats. I got 103 row A, just a little right of center. Needless to say...my wife and I are pretty happy with that, and I guess that proves the "pit" row was being sold.

Sorry to hear so many of you got hosed.

Tinley security tends to be really strict about people trying to climb closer to the stage from their original row. I've seen many people ejected in the past 15 years. So..Just be wary of that..don't go getting yourselves kicked out over a couple rows.

You get a pretty decent view from nearly anywhere in the seats. Lawn here...kind of awful if you really want to watch, but it's fun for going with a group to hang out just enjoy hearing the music. Having the 15 min early entry will definitely help lawn people out for getting a decent spot to still see stage.

I'd also like to point out that as far as I'm aware, The World/Tweeter/First Midwest Bank Amphitheater (whatever the hell you want to call it) has never had a traditional "pit". Front row seats is front row seats. I've been here many times since the year it opened (as The World) in many different sections, including skybox seats (I highly recommend... worth it for the exclusive bathrooms and beer maids) and I've never seen a general admin in front of the seated ticket holders. Not to say it doesn't happen, but if it does.. I've never seen it.

Just a heads up for anyone still looking for tickets. 95.1 WIIL is giving away tickets all week, the DJ giving them away usually comes on around 2pm. You just gotta be caller #10 when she announces it, pretty simple.

    All this was a mess,

Im Enrique, I met you at Auburn Hills, youre so lucky NIN will play just 5 minutes near your house.

    Salutations

I ended up going for the cheap lawn seats. I'll save high ticket prices for real shows with a damn proper floor. ;p

I'll be there--section 102, row J, seat 10. Hopefully it's true that Death Grips won't be. Or maybe they'll no-show again? Either way, good news there.

Looks like we'll be row buddies, I have section 102, row F, seat 9!

I really wish I could be near my best friend lady_weetly but this whole presale mess screwed it all up. I wish they would've said beforehand that this show was going to be seats (and lawn) only, that way Rachel and I could've worked something out so I could buy her ticket with mine and we'd at least be together. But oh well I guess, I'm really happy I managed to get as good of a seat as I did, and now that it's finally setting in that I'm seeing NIN again I'm getting pretty excited, even if it is just seats. It'll be an awesome show no matter what, It's Nine Inch Fucking Nails.

I have 102, row n, seat 4. Probably the worst seats I've ever pulled from a nin.com pre sale but still not too bad I guess.

Section 101, Row J here. A bit bummed about Death Grips as I was interested in checking them out but I guess that means NIN might take the stage earlier and/or play a bit longer? Fingers crossed.

Blind luck, I guess. I dunno... I got through right away when it went live and got the captcha right on the first try... I'm sure that all helped.

Closest I've ever been at this venue before was row C, center. My wife's had Row A a couple of times though.

EDIT: good to know some people can't take a silly, dry humor joke on here.

updated again. really need to re-do this now. Didn't realize how many people were traveling to the asshole of the concert venue universe for this show.

Probably way too early to ask. Death Grips won't be there since they're doing Pitchfork in Chicago earlier in the month. Any ideas who may fill in? (Death Grips is hard to replace)

Question for the few of you that live around the area...

I'm staying at the Holiday Inn Chicago-tinley Park Convention Center which is I guess only a mile + away from the venue. Anyways, I've been there before but have never stayed at one of the local hotels. I know parking and getting in-out is a real bitch. What are the chances of getting a cab to the venue and one back to my hotel afterwords? Do they even run through there?
