Hmmm. Some people clearly knew about this way before us.

I personally think it's a great combination. Best band Trent has chosen to tour with since... well... The Fragility tour when APC opened.
Bauhaus wasn't a bad opening act for the 2006 summer amphitheatre tour. But Peter Murphy is kinda losing his touch these days.
And I know @Prowulf would be stoked as hell if this is true, because NIN and Soundgarden are his 2 favourite bands.
Looks like it's starting east and heading west. I'm going to guess August 2 in Camden for the "Philly" date. PURELY A GUESS!!! Just want to see if I'm right. I'm definitely calling Camden in that general time frame though.
^^^for a second there I thought they had a support band called 'willows community school' till I realised the sale was for charity
If I had to guess, and I don't want to Jinx anything... I think it's gonna start in the northwest (mid to end July) and then head east across central canada/usa towards NYC for Aug 1st, Hit up the Osheaga festival in Montreal, then Toronto, then go down south to Flordia, over to Texas for the 17th date in Dallas and end in LA on Aug 25th.
So much for long setlists on that tour.

Although I disagree with qotsa. Depeche Mode are doing ok sales wise I thought, so there would be no need for them to join up with anyone to sell out arenas.
Luckily in Europe Janes were pretty much support. I was so disappointed in 2009 when there was this big show about Trent being in the studio with someone, and it turned out to be JA

Yeah, we'll probably get like an hour and 20 min sets like how Australia is getting between Queens and NIN now.
Meh, i'd even take 45 mins of Nails live over no Nails at all, as I have a feeling after this tour of the USA he's going on hiatus from touring for a while again.
Is there no chance this is just a mistake? This is the first time I've felt embarrassed for NIN since the Starsuckers vid.
Just my 2 cents , but I'd rather pay a little more and see another version of tension tour , If the NIN / Soundgarden tour happens (only guessing) , it will be nothing more than NINJA part 2 : NINSO , Trent would have to pull out some big songs barely or never played to make it an awesome show...
Is Soundgarden even that good anymore? Saw them years back in Barrie Ontario ( with NIN I think) , wasn't to impressed.
Yeah, their most recent U.S. shows have included a nightclub in St. Louis and 3,000-seat theaters in Houston and Dallas. No way it's co-headlining.
Wow, really? They’re right up there with NIN and Arcade Fire for Lollapalooza in South America.
In fact I wonder if that helped to cover up any rumors of a NIN-Soundgarden US tour.
(Is there an accepted abbreviation for Soundgarden, like maybe SG? I still think it’s one of the great all-time band names, but I’m getting tired of typing it.)

Fall US tour. See Vegas and Detriot in video I think.

Concert announcement as ARG. Of course.
As long as this doesn't end up happening.

I would easily rank Soundgarden above Jane's Addiction and especially QOTSA. Maybe even Bowie to an extent.
But, that's just me and my opinion, of course. I'm looking forward to the announcement of the dates. Been itching for more SG shows after their last tour.
If it's an amphitheater only tour, Camden would have to be the Philly date (it's the closest outdoor amphitheater to the city). I've been there for Mayhem Fest a few times, and it's a decent venue. I just hate amphitheater tours because GA is so much smaller so it's so much harder to get one, I'm going to have a heart attack when they go on sale. And if they go on sale this soon, I just graduated a 4-year university and have no job yet, so I might be fucked out of going and I don't like that. UGH.
But this sounds like an awesome show, and I am much excite.
I have no money and can't go to any shows, so join the wah-wah club.
Oh man. This is kind of a bummer if it does end up being Soundgarden and Nine Inch Nails for a double bill. I saw Soundgarden for FREE last year in St. Louis (those tickets went up to $100 mind you) and was not impressed by the band or the incredibly cheesy CGI video screen they brought along with them. I would've much preferred to have seen another up and coming band open for NIN, but beggars can't be choosers I suppose.
I'm really hoping to see Nine Inch Nails again this year and while I wish they were coming to St. Louis or somewhere in Missouri again, I highly doubt we'll see that now. Looks like a Chicago show will be my best bet.
You lost me when you said you rank SG above Bowie.....
I wish they would've came here with QOTSA before soundgarden :l
