Dammit. I was hoping for some new Sonoio! He teased us HARDCORE with that track "Thanks For Calling" I thought that was one of his best Sonoio tracks yet and was curious to hear a full album in that style. I miss the songs with his vocals in them. These millions of experimental/instrumental side projects don't really do much for me.

The upcoming album explores a different side of the Roland TB-303:
“The 303 can be such a haunting instrument, used in a certain way,” notes Cortini, “and I felt it completely fit the mood of the previous work I have done on the 202, especially when given a specific location in space.”

Yes. The music he's been doing lately gives me this mental image of machine-things in a huge warehouse — as if the sounds are coming from very much physical objects. Even seeing the actual synths in that video wasn't enough to break the illusion.

(That sense of space also makes for pleasant for headphone listening. A lot of electronic music is so dry that I have to run it through reverb filters to keep it from poking little holes in my head.)

I don't mind the experimental/instrumental side projects, but I'm also eagerly awaiting more Sonoio. I love "Thanks for calling" and I still listen to it regularly. Post #292 of this thread links to a very short sample of what I can only assume is another Sonoio track and it sounds like it has potential. Hopefully more Sonoio is on the way soon.

Anyone else bought the Risveglio CD & have the same issue as me?

Track 4, Dormiveglia, cuts out abruptly at 0.28 & the remainder of the track is just silence. For some reason I can't get the same track to play on Apple Music (although all other tracks play fine), so I can't check to see if it's the same on there...

I know shipping is tough to the UK. But Forse 1 normally sells for $45-55 without shipping and I think that is for black vinyl.
