I'm not crying, you're... Oh wait, I am crying.

    Gutted.

RIP Norm, my fellow Québécois. You're making so many of us cry today, tears of sadness instead of laughter.

    Yup.

We love you, too, Norm. Rest easy.

RIP to Norm. His sense of humour was pretty similar to mine. He will be missed. Fuck cancer!

Need to rewatch Dirty Work. It will also be bittersweet to see him in the third season of The Orville.

I used to annoy the hell out of people asking them if they have any gum while doing his Letterman impersonation.

Sad about Richard Kirk. I have not looked into his death or personal life or anything but I his recent output. I think I put Shadow Of Fear on my best of 2020 on here. I know I was in the minority of liking that album but I did and a lot of his other non-Cabaret Voltaire music. I even liked the newer drone stuff. And, I still love pretty much everything from Cabaret Voltaire from 79-83. Kind of always hoped Stephen and Richard would get back together but like I said I don't really know anything about their personal lives or personal band history. I just still liked the music they have been making, so its sad because seemed like Kirk still had music left.

Todd Akin, the former Missouri congressman whose ‘legitimate rape’ comment derailed his U.S. Senate candidacy, dies at 74

you know, there are times when, after death, you come to realize maybe you were too hard on a person.
The ensuing controversy sank his candidacy in a race many felt he had a chance to win in a state that was increasingly tilting Republican. Akin would later write that he regretted apologizing for the remark, arguing that his apology legitimized what he believed were willful distortions of the remarks by his political opponents and the media.
This is not one of those times.

I like how everyone’s talking about Colin Powell like he wasn’t a huge part of getting us stuck in a pointless 20 year war

He was able to tidy up his reputation with a handful of borderline not-quite apologies and endorsed Obama twice and BOOM no harm no foul. Really something to behold. Oh and he had a bitchin Corvette, apparently.

Holy shit, that’s satire right? I feel so annoyed… in any reasonable timeline, that would be an Onion article.
