    A big one.

I loved her work in Harry Potter, Skyfall & Inside No.9, but what I know her from the most is Peaky Blinders - Polly Gray. To me, they will struggle carrying the series on without her (even though this series they are currently filming is the last one, although they are supposedly filming a movie afterwards).

RIP Helen - In the bleak midwinter...

Dan Kaminsky died at 42 of diabetes. Very sad. Such a brilliant and nice guy, who saved the internet.

“If you are reading this obituary online, you owe your digital safety to him.”

I guess it went unnoticed at the time but Ronald DeFeo Jr died in prison back in March.

As far as I am concerned, that man was the only true evil to ever live at 112, Ocean Avenue, Amityville.

I missed this news. For a short while I had a morbid fascination with the supposedly haunted house, the alleged hoax, and by extension, the DeFeo murders. This led me down a really random internet rabbit hole, where I joined a discussion forum moderated by DeFeo’s wife, who met him in prison. I don’t know what her goal was... to clear his name and say he was innocent, or that he’d already paid his debt to society... some mash up of the two. I left that forum once I decided she was seriously disturbed... wonder what happened with all of that.
