Oh wow, I loved him, I read several of his books. A great teacher of mindfulness.

“Tomorrow, I will continue to be. But you will have to be very attentive to see me. I will be a flower, or a leaf. I will be in these forms and I will say hello to you. If you are attentive enough, you will recognize me, and you may greet me. I will be very happy."

RIP Don Wilson, last of the original Ventures. They were from Tacoma, WA & my late uncle went to high school & was friends with them. The band sold 100 million records! You'll never hear surf music again....

Oh man, I friggin LOVED The Ventures.

Our entire percussion section in Junior High would do “Wipeout” contests on snares, where we’d see who could play “Wipeout” the longest (and accurately).

I had a drum kit, and surf music was the easiest music to learn, and the most fun.

RIP, Don. SURF MUSIC WILL NEVER DIE!!

Bob Saget's cause of death has been revealed. Authorities believe he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it, got under the covers and went to bed. He then died of a brain bleed in his sleep. So tragic.

    Oh my god, that’s terrible.

Then you have polar opposite situations to that like the guy who hit his head once, thought nothing of it then years later an X-ray showed an entire nail lodged in his skull but he was perfectly fine. Luck of the draw.

Bob Saget really came across as a sincere, kind-hearted man. That one hurt.

That's sad, but at least he went in his sleep.

If you recall the same (basic) thing happened to Natasha Richardson:
On 18 March 2009, Richardson died when she suffered a severe head injury in a skiing accident at the Mont Tremblant Resort, northwest of Montreal.
If you bump your head, just maybe take it a little more serious than it may appear.

Skiing head trauma tends to be VASTLY different from bumping your head on the headboard.

true, but in a very (basic) sense head injuries should always be taken at least a little seriously.

I'm not typically an alarmist, but this is looks like someone taking a baseball bat to Bob Saget's head. However, it was likely just a fall, per this M.D.

The girl who had cancer that sang and went by the stage name Nightbirde on America's Got Talent passed away.

She fought cancer for 4 years and died on February 19th, 2022.

    So fucking sad.

    RIP Jane Marczewski

What a date to pass away. 22/2/22.

Sounds like COVID affected him pretty badly:

In March 2021, Lanegan was hospitalised with severe COVID-19 and almost died.[97] The disease had led to him going temporarily deaf, being unable to walk and slipping in and out of a coma for several months.[91][97]

Apparently someone leaked on Insta that the Queen has died? weird way to find out for sure.

but seriously, she hasn't been seen in months and they just said she got Covid so if they want a scapegoat there it is.

I'm in shock about Mark Lanegan. Screaming Trees were 1 of the better bands in town in the grunge era. & amazingly Mark fought his way out of a heroin addiction to make some amazing music. The last time I saw him he was opening for Nick Cave. He came out & did the father part in "Weeping Song". I'm weeping now.
