First reaction was "who?" (I'm not great with names / faces)

Soon as I saw the picture..."oh goddamnit".

RIP Buck Baxter, great pedal steel player. Most famously with Bob Dylan, Steve Earle & Ryan Adams. I knew him a little (he actually crashed on my couch once way back in the day when he was touring with Ricky Skaggs). He was a cool guy & fine musician.

There are times I wish my brain worked faster but that was actually better because of the layers of "Oh. Oh. Ooooh." that happened.

And Chariots of Fire. I need to watch that one again. His only Academy Award nomination too.

rip Joel. as a kid growing up in the early 90's, I thought the Lost Boys was the coolest movie ever. massive fan and even inspired a visit to Santa Cruz as an adult. and I don't care if it's for the wrong reasons, I love Batman & Robin.

Don't forget Flatliners, my friends. Fantastic movie and a cast to die for. Pardon the pun.

Except for the lesser Baldwin, that cast was A+.

I love that film as well. I'm sure I've seen it three, maybe four times. The score by Harry Gregson-Williams is kickass and very reminiscent of his work on Spy Game and MGS2. Plus, it had maybe the greatest deleted scene of all time, starring one Jared Leto. RIP, Joel.
