Ross Perot, at 89. I remember him fairly clearly because the election between him, Bush, and Clinton was the first time I was consciously aware of politics. One of my classes even had mock debates with three people in the roles of the three candidates.
I mostly remember his for E.D.S.
RIP Rip Torn.

Fuck no!
RIP Rutger Hauer
I’m watching Nighthawks to pay my respects.
In 1982, my (late) friend Jay, older and much more worldly than me, handed me a paperback copy of Morrison’s “Tar Baby” and said “Read this.”
It sparked my love of Toni Morrison.
Sula, The Bluest Eye, Beloved, Song of Solomon; all of her works exhibit such written beauty and poignancy and heartbreaking honesty.
Godspeed, Ms. Morrison.
Even though on suicide watch...Jeffrey Epstein found dead of an 'apparent hanging'.
That's fucking surreal. I guess the USA is not the slightest better than Russia or Saud Arabia when you manage to threaten high profile people from the left and the right.
Police brutality, citizens slaughtering each-other, politicians don't really giving a shit about the former two, president assassinations and assassination attempts, VIP prisoner committing suicide on a suicide watch... man, I would be severely depressed as a US citizen from the amount of apathy I'd feel.
Yeah, he didn't commit suicide, he was suicide-ed. Big difference. I hope they dig through every ounce of his finances, his data, and every little diary and ledger he's ever kept and nail some big time players to the wall.
Easy Rider is one of the best movies ever.

Jessi Combs 1980-2019
Racer, fabricator, all-around badass...and she happened to be on TV occasionally. Huge advocate for girls and women getting involved in the automotive, racing, fabricating industries. Huge loss.
