Mike McGrath, founder of the modular synth forum (and what eventually organically became an incredible resource for the modular community) Muff Wiggler has died.

Oh, crap. I was just watching an interview with her a few days ago while looking forward to the next Annabelle film entry and was thinking how much she’d outlived Ed...

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I post this update. She was just seven years old.

Goodbye, sweet Tardar Sauce. You'll never know how useful you were to us humans. When we felt like saying "fuck off" to the entire world and we wanted to stay somewhat polite, we used your unique face to do it. But most of all, us cat lovers always thought you were adorable and we will miss you tremendously.

Have fun at the Rainbow Bridge, darling girl!

She was a recluse for decades, had such a rotten life, treated terribly by three of her four husbands, one of them embezzled all of her money. But when she finally came out of hiding in 2014, she looked great! (For 92) She made a surprise appearance at a fundraiser birthday celebration and people cried when they saw her. There are photos of her online from her 97th birthday, just weeks before she suddenly fell ill from the flu then pneumonia, and she had been in really good health, walked her dogs daily, etc. She was amazing, one of the greats.

I saw Pillow Talk recently. It's aged horribly and doesn't hold up well in the Me Too era, but she did light up the screen.

So the story goes that he kills himself the night/morning before he's supposed to get on a plane for the first Joy Division tour in North America as put on by WaxTrax... annnnnnd last night I just watched the WaxTrax documentary.

Of course I'm listening to Closer now. Almost be disrespectful not to.

    Me too. That's awful.

Remember this from Angels With Dirty Faces? I remember them playing it on the talk shows back in the day, and talking about how excited he was about having her.
