Bob Einstein was a comedic genius. Easily my favorite character on Curb. His timing & facial expressions (or lack thereof) were amazing. A major loss in entertainment.

I grew up watching Super Dave so his passing hit me pretty hard.

One role that no has brought up that I though was great was his role on Arrested Development as "Larry Middleman"!

I don't know why Oppy's official death has choked me up so much yesterday and today, but I've literally been CRYING over this. Gahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! The poscards are killing me.

What an amazing journey. We will miss you, Oppy.

    Meanwhile, we still have Curiosity!

Oh I've been crying too. I think it's because Oppy, Spirit and Curiosity represent the best of mankind. They are the proof that we are willing to look beyond our little selves, to search for something that is so much bigger than us. And also, they are showing our capacity to be amazed and humbled by what we are finding.

Some people build walls, other build dreams.

Back to my regular bawling. Thank you for the links!

Spoiler alert: article does not disclose the actual final communication. But alas, the "my battery is low" thing was made up by science reporter Jason Margolis.

Dude. Us NASA geeks actually know that. We know that there was never ANY literal communication from Oppy. The “last communication” was totally symbolic.

    Try to keep up, okay?

(We all know it came from here but it symbolizes her final haunting sad demise, the final message she symbolically sent several months ago.)

    Of course, then she asks:

    “Will I dream?”
