I don't think we have anything to worry about. Season 3 ended less than a year ago. No one has said anything isn't happening. They're in negotiations/eeearly production...I would probably expect that to be what stage they were in even if no "news" got out. I'd put money on no new Rick and Morty until mid 2019, at the earliest.

Dan talking about all of this on his podcast makes the whole situation look like it might be the nothing that it is. Just a popular show moving at...about the pace we could expect. In due time!

    Hooray for "news!"

I kind of want to see Justin do something on his own. House Of Cosbys is amazing

Did anyone else watch yesterday’s Rick and Morty April Fool’s Day special? I was in stitches.

Interesting article. I hadn't delved that deep into the philospophy or fandom of the show, or the social media maniacs that apparently populate the fanbase. Curious what others think.

Making my way through this show again and it's still hilarious and very clever at times too. And I don't care of if it's played out now...the Mr. Meseeks episode is probably my favorite.

This show needed to take a breather. The S4 premiere kicked ass.

    "ON REAPPROPRIATING SLURS" Rick
Best animated series. I already watched season 4, but like the third one at the beginning, it’s a little weak, but I think by the middle of the season there will be norms in the 6th series of the second season “Ricky must have gone crazy” I almost burst into tears!

I really don't feel that strong about the premiere episode. Maybe I'm missing something, but so far nothing really stuck with me. I enjoyed it nevertheless but don't understand the universal praise going so far as to say this is one of the finest episodes so far... the story is quite good and the mechanics introduced are interesting, but it didn't really struck my funny bone.

But jesus, I've read several comments about facism becoming a too common trope within the show and that this is an alarming thing. Really? Guess I'm too stupid too catch that as well or do any of you feel the same?

I feel like what it was trying to say went over my head initially too. I will watch again this week probably.

That episode was more up my alley than teh premiere, classic Rick and Morty. Reallly enjoyed it, but already sad there's only three more left.

I love episodes that dive deeper into Rick's lunacy/mastermind and that make heavy use if the differen dimensions, dreams and subconcious things, but unlike the premiere this had me laughing way more.

Are you here aware of Solar Opposites? (Hulu) I tried first episode out of curiosity and it's strange and funny but somehow not for me, but you will like it I think. :-)

Tonight's episode was great. Really funny.

    "Ask the Saudis"

    "Wow...damn"

    "Yeah, getting political...I'm political now"

Two episodes have premiered thus far from the new season. Both have been solid, with the first episode actually being really impressive and funny. Show is so smart and funny still. Loved the short re-appearance by Keith David as the president in the latest episode. Legit lol'd while watching solo.

I was just watching Daria this morning and am suddenly wondering if Beth and Jerry are modelled on Daria's parents Helen and Jake. There is more than a passing personality resemblance.
