Reading this thread of the 'how' of this announcement and this came up:

Are you kidding me? On top of that, he was the one giving the hosts direction for how to act and carry the show so I wonder if his notes were biased, huh?

Whoa, interesting article. And that he even tried to be the host for The Price is Right too. Sketchy motherfucker, for sure.

Ugh … WHY do they have to bow down to these white male nerds? Why can’t the girl do the show by herself? <-rhetorical question, shakes fist.

Wellington designer's work used as logo on 'Trump Card'
Peters said he retained the rights to the drawing and put it on Shutterstock and over the course of about seven years it earned about US$224.

"So I think that boiled down to about 56 US cents per download and Trump will have paid something like, or his campaign would've paid something like US$3."

He said the Trump campaign may have even got the design for free since it is possible to get an initial free credit if you have just opened a Shutterstock account.

Peters was dismissive of how cheap this is in terms of a public marketing campaign.

"I just think it really highlights his disdain for even his own supporters, like just how cheap this is. He hasn't employed a real person to design something special for his official card, like he has to find it on Shutterstock and that's the way he goes about it."

Read about it last night on Twitter when it broke...incredibly sad. I wonder why/how the gun was aimed at the DOP and Director and not a stuntperson. Perhaps just shit luck with line of sight and a long distance shot (it's a western, hunting rifle, etc.) or aiming at the camera for a shot from that angle. Either way...brutal story. Baldwin will never be the same. That shit has to change you.

I am assuming that blanks were loaded, but there was a squib load incident much like what happened to Brandon Lee. Except this was a rifle? Or even shotgun?

I really feel for Alec. Something very similar happened to me, as well as my father. You really are never the same.

IATSE union is saying the gun contained a single live round. How the fuck does this happen. They have so many rules in place to prevent something like that.

Sounds like the whole production was a shit show. Members of the camera crew had already walked off set due to the working conditions. Also of note from that article is that the prop gun had two misfires on Saturday and one the previous week.

Alec Baldwin was told by an assistant director that the gun he was given was a cold gun

This is so horrible. And this should have never happened again. Did Brandon Lee die for nothing?

    It's heartbreaking.
