Jesus yall hate everything lol I love the song and the video. It reminds me of why I want to get into video and be creative. Yes I will admit the lyrics leave a bit to be desired, but all things considered I think it is a well produced song. Sounds like a middle ground of Visions Meets Art Angels.

So apparently an unmixed/unmastered version of the new album got leaked.
After few listens to it, I can somewhat understand why it takes so long for her to finish the album. It’s definitely less catchy than Art Angels, with some songs being 6-7 minutes long. But I can say I like it so far (or I'll like it when it's finished).

Agree, the sound quality is not the best but you can tell this is the most layered music she has produced.

It's not bad, but it's certainly not the track I would have chosen to open an album. Again, I don't think it's bad, but yeah as a memorable album opener, it pretty much drops the ball entirely. If this was in the middle of the album, I could see the track being more effective?

Agreed. Songs that repeat the title of the track over and over kind of gets to me. Visions will always be my favorite piece of material she has made, however, this track made me space out so it's doing something right.

I may not be a hardcore Art Angels fan, but it was more creative than this song.
Visions is still her best work.

This. Art Angels was very uneven for me. I wanted to like it but there are some songs on there that are just way too poppy for me, along with some very cringy lyrics.

Am I the only one who thinks the new record is heavily influenced by NIN? I keep hearing sounds and melodies that are reminiscent of NIN pretty much throughout the album. Definitely, more than her last two records.

Just finished the new album... I like the sound but the vocals seem too buried in the mix and the hooks do not immediately grab you. Maybe I'll get over it after a few listens (this is a unusual gripe from me but I think the problem is that Art Angels was so unbelievably hooky that I had expectations for more of that).

I just love that album, every track. And I absolutely don't know why, I really can't explain. Like there is a very particular energy behind the music that I resonate with, I juste love it!

And then they changed it to X æ A Xii , so that it would be accepted by California, which I guess didn't allow the 12?
