Stagnant strangers romance on crowded pathways below admiring the stage's glistening coat. The reflection on the sill giving the cheekbones their due. Praising the worth of porcelain skin. My shades of blonde dancing in the high sun. I gave labor to the grief. To the squinting spectator who drank in the despair as I tiptoed off the plane of existence and drifted listlessly through the velvet blackness of oblivion. I am what I always was. Gleaming and empty.

This is old news and I know what the band has said about it (no indication of the next album) but I LOVE the song they provided for Adult Swim.

I hope the next album shows similarities to this though.

If they were doing this as a cheap unique cash in, I'd totally buy it. Their interviews are humble and I genuinely feel they love the music they are influenced by, so it shows in their own.

Anyone have a clue what the lyrics are in this live version? They sound vastly different.

Show last night was tight. Showed the guys around downtown for a few hours and got listed. Openers Sumac were pretty sludgy...members of Baptists, Isis, Russian Circles...pretty great. Got a bit turned up with the guys after...oh lord.

Oh man Sumac was heavy and sludgy as all fuck. A lot of repetition, long deep growls....the place was actually rumbling.

i've found, after listening to both albums a few times, i definitely prefer roads to judah. i still think sunbather is good, but it doesn't hit me quite as hard.

It's a toss up for me really. Both have strengths and weaknesses. However, what I posted is definitely my favorite song.

i like being able to tell when articles are fake because it makes them more funny. i find it really frustrating when you THINK they're real and then find out they're fake.
    that was pretty hilarious.

LP 3 has been officially recorded, same producer, Nick Steinhardt cover again. Not 100% officially a 2015 release yet, but that's the goal still. A lot more 'streamlined'. FTKOTTC is apparently a good 'segue' from Sunbather to the new album.

Good news. I liked From the Kettle to the Coil a lot so no complaints here.

Definitely excited for this. Hope they can drop it this fall, though I'm expecting it will be a slow rollout, where we'll hear the first single in the fall/early-winter and get the album late-winter.
