So only a cd version of the new 'Permanent Radient' EP? Anyone find the vinyl anywhere?

Not yet (the vinyl). That song sounds like Baby One More Time by Britney Spears!

It is very odd to hear Chino singing over music that sounds like it could be a Sean Paul riddim.

Holier reminds me of The Passportal from Team Sleep and that's a very good thing. Really wish this was a full length cause these tracks are BANGERS.

Day One is one of my most favorite things Chino has ever done, and Holier is the best track here. The entire thing is just as I imagined it would be, and you can tell a lot of care went into each and every song here. Already on my 3rd play through.

Also, had no idea this song existed?

This little EP is most excellent, do you know if there are plans for a vinyl release? Quick edit: I just went over to the Crosses website and there's a transparent ruby vinyl shipping April next year, I've ordered one already For some reason I don't see it (the vinyl) announced on their social media accounts.

I noticed that IMMEDIATELY when the chorus kicked in. I've been trying so hard not to acknowledge it when listening with others. XD

Edit: I will not be surprised if someone mashes those up at some point.

Interesting new interview, there may be an LP coming down the pipeline, a new tour in the spring/summer of next year (which could lean more into electronic music and less rock band, which is what they did back in 2012-ish), and the Baby One More Time-sounding chorus may have been an intentional nod. I'd be really excited to see Crosses live next year.

I thought this from the day I heard it. In my car I said "There is no way this wasn't intentional." after listening to it a few times lol. They said the songs released on the EP were more of the "Safer" tunes? Now I'm even more excited on how the other material will sound. This is great news!

I'm dying to see them again, I saw them twice when they toured last time.

They are slowly marching toward a full album worth of covers, would be nice to collect them all in one place.

Just received an email, for pre-orders. Crosses first new album in 9 years!. I totally forgot this was coming!

We have been spoiled lately . They stuck to their word, when they said they had a lot more music to release. Was not expecting it, this early. Just in time for Halloween!

$50 for a double vinyl feels a bit rich, right?

$50 for a double album feels goofy for sure. And yet, here I am, contributing to the problem by pre-ordering the deluxe package anyway...

Really excited for this, though - I liked the recent EP a lot. Pretty much all the new music since they came back has been great, so I have high hopes for this one too.

I grabbed 2 of the Cassettes; I'm such a sucker for that kind of stuff.

The last EP I had on repeat for a LONG time. The collab with Robert Smith, and the long track list, seems like we're in for a real treat.

Wow, I figured an album was coming, but I thought the album would have the EPs tracks like their previous album did. I'm very happy to see its 15 new tracks. I'm very excited.

I'm also a sucker for these things, caved in and bought the regular vinyl. This band a perfect record to me, I didn't even listen to the single they released before buying this but I know it'll be quality.

Loved their first album and liked the covers that they released. But all the other stuff that they have released since (including the new single) make it seem like they're a one-trick pony. Hope they prove me wrong on the new album.

The album just dropped. My good headphones are on and I'm about to dive in.

*edit* Wow, this album is really good. The production is phenomenal. It’s rich, lush, and is full of interesting textures. It’s really cohesive and properly moody. The whole thing just flows so nicely- the fifty minutes is over before you know it!

‘Pleasure’ is such a cool opening track.

Overall, I can see a lot of these songs ending up in my head over the next few weeks and months.

‘Pleasure’, ‘Runner’, and ‘Ghost Ride’ are my favorites after my first listen. ‘Runner’ in particular.

Ahh fuck yeah. I was just starting to get antsy that I didn’t have many shows booked for 2024.
